Yep. I watched it the other day and thought it was pretty well done. Just the last like 15 minutes seemed rushed like they ran out of ideas. Probably cause the movie was only 1hr25min. |
That and it was for the american audience so it needed a happy hollywood ending

Wild Hogs......8/10
It was hilarious through the whole movie till the end which got slow and boring. It was such an odd mix of actors and they all played their parts perfectly. I haven't seen a good Tim Allen movie since The Santa Clause.

Miss Potter 9/10 - I've been meaning to watch this for a long time but just got around to watch it today. This is an amazing movie. This is one of those movies that will still be good 10 years from now. Seriously give it a try, unless your a major hardass you'll probably like this one.

The Mars Underground 3/10 - I was expecting something good due to the positive response in here. It was utter sh*t. It followed the rantings of a crazy scientist who believes StarTrek is real. AVOID!
Bourne Ultimatum 9/10 - quality!
History Boys 7/10 - Lots of intellectual humour in this. Includes a relaxed attitude on sexuality so avoid if you're a prude or homophobe.
The Lookout 7/10 - Follows a guy with brain damage who gets involved with criminal elements. Not a bad movie I guess.

where would the world be if we were all like you thinking that nothing amazing would be possible? if everyone was like you, there'd be no progress and no effort to make the seemingly impossible happen... id hate to live in your dull ass world. when someone like you reviews a movie like that so incredibly low, it makes me even more curious to see it.

I found Mars Underground very intresting and not at all filled with scientists who "belives Star Trek is real"

Spoiler: | Oh come on, some shit was just way too obvious. It was one of those movies you felt you had seen many times before. Ofcourse the mechanic in the beginning is bad. Ofcourse their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Ofcourse the cop dies. And that scene when he checks under the hood of the car, and then closes it and theres one of the killers, HELLO CAPTAIN OBVIOUS! And worst of all, was when the girl was hiding in that hole in the ceiling, and she looks down in Wilson, AND 10 SECONDS before he actually i said it, i said out loud "Now he´s going to say "I love you". Cliché movie on pretty much all aspects if you ask me. The only thing i actually liked, was the videotapes the killers had made, they felt kinda authentic and a bit scary.
Oh and i almost forgot, THE ENDING! He fucking LIVED! "If he´s fucking alive, then.." i said, and then, he started to open his fucking eyes.. Movie was shit, come on |

Well, okay, it was shot well, but it was as entertaining as a teen slasher. No, scratch that, teen slashers usually have som nice gore. This didnt.

There's Stalingrad, but it doesn't have that same epic feeling Band of Brothers does, sadly, due to certain stereotypes, I'm not sure if we will ever see a movie that puts you in the eyes of a Russian soldier and/or a German one.
