'No internet' probably counts as 'not validated', so it'll try to delete the folder (which doesn't work cause of the renaming/copying of the folder) without sending any information between the gamers pc and the developer. Or does the system NEED to update the game (unplayable due to bugs / something else)?

I guess it will only be the exe, afaik securom stopped adding 'CMS16.DL', 'CMS_95.DL' and 'CMS_NT.DLL' after the first versiosn. But we'll see...

My god! Let me explain:
1. Mount BioShock ISO
2. Run installation
3. When installation tryin' to download somethin'
* end the process with task manager
* or you can just rename your BioShock folder, but do it fast
4. Then just place your crack (with exe) to bioshock\builds\release
5. Enjoy!

When you install the game it say IT CAN'T download the latest patch because it's not the original disk, so i dont think they can block this crack.

Yeah gonna wait for a better crack to come along rather than burning this. However, I am glad and proud someone came up with a solution.
Don't get me wrong-the game is awesome and worth every penny and everyone needs to go out and buy a copy(*especially* after they fix the activation SNAFU).
But it's another case of a company trying to outsmart the crackers, and by doing so fucking up the game for paying customers. Which is just a fucked up practice, IMHO. And they deserve a cracked version to be floating around.

holy shit, best night ever... spider-man 3, fantasstic 4, and bioshock... now those 2 movies arent GREAT, but these are like 3 major releases all on the one day... fuck me i think im gonna go buy a lottery ticket!!

the ONEHiTWONDER have a custom installer rebuild or is the dvd like the original? one can use the ONEHitWONDER crack with the version that is into net separately? after u have download the game u need to move into another place the folder? why this? and what is the popup error?
