I have to ask again. Is there someplace where I can download the d2d bioshock, needs to be the uk version I think ( thats where I bought it from). I get less than 100kb/s from the downloadmanager and I dont feel like having to download 24 hours to play a game I paid for.
If someone can help me someway please PM me.
And now it stopped totally....

Just got off a 2-3 hour blast of the game...
Well, so far, as for being "open ended" :/...
Seems like lots of stuff is scripted to me. The game itself is OK so far, atmosphere is good, graphics are good etc. But just feels like something is missing? I dunno. Maybe it will pick up, i havent seen a Big Daddy yet. Just got the TELEKENISIS plasmid.

ooo if you haven't played against a big daddy yet your missing out their a lot of fun to mess with lol. Stand in his walking path he'll smite you with whatever he's got. I had 1 big daddy wondering around so I hypnotized him and brought him back to one I needed to kill, let those two duke it out...as well as the splicer who wanted the ADAM

You can simply rename the folder instead of copying it.

Does the manual activation work? Three things needed for that - serial, request code and activation code. If we have one working serial that passed manual activation, and set request code to one used to do manual activation, and use the activation code that was once used already, then everybody can do this manual activation with the same codes. right? or am I missing something?

Oh, and BTW, if I had a serial I sure wouldn't share it with a whole forum. |
Sharing your codes is not the point. Which codes should change and why?
If on the same dialog, one provide exactly the same data (serial, request code and activation code), and this is *manual* (which means should work without any inet connections to activation servers) - then clicking manual activation shall work, isn't it?
You can change the request code using WinSpy++ for example, I know that you can't set it just like that in dialogs of the bioshock exe.

No, I mean if we get a working combination of serial-request-activation codes, then we don't need no keygen no crack, no need to wait and it would work for everyone.

I *HIGHLY* doubt it would work for everyone, because activation codes should be different for every copy.
But, hey, we can try. We just have to find a serial and that sure isn't easy.

we need someone who passed through manual activation and saved unlock/request codes. and then, not to ask him to share codes without making sure that method works, ask this kind person to make a test which I described. If it works, then no crack needed to play.

There *IS* a user who used manual activation. I just have to find out WHO. He posted some pages ago.
EDIT: It's the user EPSILON. We could try to contact him.

Oh, nevermind it then. I was just curious and an idea came up into my mind, that's it. If I would be soo much interested in getting to the Rapture, I would buy the game using my credit card already. (:

I'm playing on hard mode, reloading when I die rather then respawning. Its difficult of course, but so much fun. I actually feel like the enemies are a threat, and the big daddies kick my ass unless I'm totally prepared. Much prefer it this way.

I'm locking this until further developments regarding a scene release or a working crack surfaces.
PM myself or another mod to have the topic unlocked to add relevant comment.
