Heh, maybe when they were "improving" the system instead of typing in "5" they accidently typed in "0" on the activation limit.
Man this is one of the biggest FUBARs with a game release I can remember in my 15 yrs or so of gaming...

In this particular case, it seems my steam purchase is ftw. Wow, steam actually winning something. 
I dont really care about the securom shit, Ive just upgraded my pc (i only upgrade once every 1-2 years) so the installs thing wont be a problem for me.. It seems like they are working on it anyways. The game itself is amazing so i couldnt really care less about protection problems and all that malarkey. |
Well from what I read, in order to keep all your activations(which still go through securom's servers), you must uninstall the game each time. IE, completely remove from your harddrive. Then you gotta download the whole f'in thing over again. Which, to me anyways, is an even bigger pain in the arse. Plus all that securom trojan type shit still gets installed each time.

Valve fixed that the day after the release.

Ok but why can't appear on the mainpage of Nforce? It's uncrackable or the crackers have a lot of problems with steam?

Hey guys
Sorry if someone asked already, I couldn't find it: is it possible not to have the disk in your drive with a proper clone image or something along that line? I'm talking about having a normal retail copy, just not having to put the disc in every time you want to play.

Ah man had such a scare earlier in the 2nd level. Go to pick up a plasmid and I am like ok sweet got a new plasmid. Turn around and there is a splicer standing literally 5 inches behind me. We just kinda stare at each other for a moment, then I shot him in the head. Perhaps he just wanted to be a friend?
As I journey through rapture I will look back on that splicer that snuck up behind me oh so silently. What was going through his mind? What did he hope to accomplish? Perhaps did he too just wanted that plasmid, maybe he was prepared to trade me for it. Maybe he just wanted change for the vending machine because it had those chips he liked. Or maybe he was a crazy fuck that deserved the bullet he got. I'll never know.
