I highly doubt any of those releases on torrent sites are legit. When there is one it will be on the main page.

Maybe posted before but I find it excellent
Quote: | Is man not entitled to the game he buys?
NO, says the man at SecuRom. It belongs to 2K.
NO, says the man at 2K. It belongs to us.
NO, says the man at Microsoft. It belongs to our license purchasers.
I rejected those answers.
Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose...piracy! Where the gamer would not be censored, where the PC owner would not be bound by petty encryption, where the buyer would not be constrained by corporate greed. And with the downloading of your torrents, piracy could become your salvation. |

heres the thing. when you install windows on your system, according to the licence, you have not purchased the os, you have simply purchased the RIGHT to USE it... i think thats horse shit... that means that if i can prove ive purchased the right to use it, i can then snap my copy of xp in half, go to microsoft and demand they give me a replacement cd... afterall, i have paid for the RIGHT, not the copy...
heres a question... if someone hacks my pc, can i sue microsoft? afterall, it wasnt my software or knowledge of it that failed... i have 'hired' a service by microsoft, and it failed... if they want to do this 'we own it' crap, then they should be held responsible...
if bioshock ever crashes, can we sue 2k because their service does NOT live up to the standards of which i purchased it for?
its bs, thats what it is, it goes against consumer rights. if i PAY for something, i OWN it... if i buy a car, its mine, i can tune it up or fucking crash it.. im not just paying for the right to drive around in it, thats what taxi's are for
when i buy a game, i can patch it, or modify it dammit... not paying for the right to use it, thats what game RENTALS are... all this crap about the companies OWNING it, is just designed to fuck over the consumers

No, its not square one. The crack that was leaked on Demonoid actually works. I have it working, BUT it is a little tricky to get it to work. As of right now, the crack has been taken OFF demonoid...dont know why...but I guess they didn't want alot of people having it right now. I have the crack fully downloaded and I shall upload it tomorrow if there is nothing released by then.

Checked back 5 pages, but I didn't see this posted (from http://www.2kgames.com/cultofrapture/home.html):
Quote: | Starting immediately, we will be upping the activation count to a 5 by 5 plan. We will be raising the maximum amount of computers a user can have BioShock installed on simultaneously from 2 to 5, and allowing a user to reinstall BioShock on each of those computers from 3 times to 5 times. Also, we have in the works a revoke tool which you will be able to run on your machine if you want to free up that key and move it to to another computer (this works very much like Steam or iTunes system). We are also working with SecuROM and 2K customer service, so that when you do need to call in support problems, you get answers to your questions faster, without much waiting or being bounced around. SecuROM has been given much more autonomy to help fix your problems quickly and effectively. I am personally sorry for anyone who got bounced around in the past couple days (I even think I contributed to this problem) and we're going to make sure that does not happen in the future.
And as for widescreen, we also want to say we completely understand a user's desire to augment their FOV. BioShock is a harrowing experience, but we don't want anyone to feel limited (or motion sick!). So we are in the process of working on an official PC patch to give widescreen PC users a choice to expand their horizontal FOV, and are investigating creating a similar update for the 360. |
Glad to see that they are at least admiting their faults, and fixing up the horrible launch problems.

It takes away some of the problems at least. I am just glad they are fixing the widescreen issues. A crack will come along sooner or later to remove the stupid activation limits anyway.

I just went to my local post office and I of course couldn't get my package even though they knew where it was, but kept insisting that I wait until they bring it out to my home.
I mean it couldn't have been more than a 20meter walk for that woman to get my bloody package but she just wouldn't! so now having been no more than 20meters from my CE I sit and wait.

Actually talking about censorship. I have to receive this package in PERSON! as it contains violent stuff etc. So its a sort of an age check I guess...so I am not sure they have censored it actually.

Says this on Amazon Quote: | Achtung: keine Jugendfreigabe gemäß § 14 JuSchG! Eine Lieferung an Minderjährige ist nicht möglich. |
Basically, no body under age might receive this product bla bla...etc

Well, since you'll have a cd key I guess you can just download one of those homemade ISOs off the internet and install the game with it... | That might be a pretty good option actually

About this censored version in Germany...
When i buy this one but i WILL install the UNCUT ISO and will install it with the KEY of my bought version
could that be working ??
so that my game is UNCUT (because i live in Germany and here i can only get the DAMM CUT VERSION in store) |
Well, sounds reasonable, but can't you just order the game from a web shop in another country otherwise?
