This is a very blunt statement.
So you don't want to pay for something you've enjoyed and support the creators of that type of enjoyment?
I do buy Single Player games, I've bought HL2, not because of CS:Source but because of HL2. I loved the original, and I wanted to show my support to valve by buying their game.
I will buy bioshock, once I've got the money and there is a proper crack to take care of the whole online activation shit. |
What I think anyone on this board hasn't noticed yet, reguardless of the "hate" for the protection, I don't think I've seen any other game thread where people were buying the game. |
A lot of people are buying it out of frustration I guess. I would too, if I had the money that is... | True words, signed...
Im allready lookin where i can find it cheap !

I really had no idea where this game came from so the hype took me by surprise. Seeing that Steam was carrying the demo (and is a nice, fast download manager) I decided to take a punt and gave it a shot. Is the demo reflective of the overall experience because it felt like I was playing an FPS not unlike every other FPS. It feels very Half-Life-ish except in a madcap sorta way.
Also what's with the AI? It was shooting into walls and basically skating all around the park. lol.
Oh and I'm glad I don't have epilepsy lol!

You'll see once you try it (why don't you install the demo, you'll get a nice rootkit courtesy of securom bundled with it)
But honestly I think it's the kind of game that's gonna give you an headache, I started feeling one the 1st time I played it...

full version is a lot better tbh. The demo isn't really like the full version as they give you some shit early. The incinerate isn't given to you till later on in the game as opposed to when they gave it to you in the bathroom. The full version is hell of a lot better. I like this camera deal Take pictures of splicers to research their weak spots.

The demo was very small =/ like you would follow one little path all the way to the end - the final game is not like that at all.. fucking stunning game.
and the first boss is freaky o_O

it's creepy, I love how the sadistic voices creep through the hallways as they scream in pain and hatred.
This game you can get lost in just exploring, there are areas you can go off track with to discover shit, tape recordings, ammo etc.

Lol the only dialog that keep popup in my mind is "Baby and me... Baby and me..." sick bitch that was |
wasn't that the one in the beginning when you get your first gun?
I just used a big daddy to go help me kill another one And of course there was a splicer there that wanted teh ADAM so he was attacking the big daddy as well, then there was me of course with my shotgun

Agreed, awesome voice acting! Especially Andrew Ryan, I love all his dialogs throughout the game. So wicked.
Used to be Yondaime but forgot pass and what email I used on it. Doh. I had ~1200 posts or something, been around since NForce started or so, so i'm no new guy.

ABSOLUTELY!
Let the publishers know on the forums but BUY THE GAME!
No games to pirate if they stop making them...the protection is no big deal.

rofl the rootkit came with the demo already, so it's not gonna change anything whether I buy it or not (except for the fact that this will make me support them, but still i'm bored and i'm not gonna wait months for a scene release)

could be, there are quite a few, and your also able to upgrade them as you go, so they have different levels I believe

I don't have the full game yet but I think I read somewhere that plasmids can be upgraded, as in Incinerate level 2 or security bullseye level 3.
