Now that is very true...but how come that Ad-Aware finds like 450+ stuff and defender finds ZERO!

defender got 0 points at one of the latest spyware test

so, basically we can conclude: everything that stars with Windows sucks

Never had any big issues with VISTA, I guess its the fad thing to say...but as more and more DX10 games will come out...well, what ever. Each man hes own hey Wink

using vista as well- home premium
and it becomes a good OS every day!
iam using also spybot and defender and adaware and have already tried some more but my favourite is this one: a-squared anti malware 3.0 by "emisoft" combined with the other free offers from the same company
here u can find -- http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/download/
try it its a real good one

and always use more than one anti spyware as on demand scanner cause none of them find everything
also good spy sweeper by webroot
unfortunately avg anti spyware says its working with vista but not in my case

Dunno, i just tried a-squared free version and it returned three or four false positives, e.g. asking me if i wanted to delete the registry keys of shareaza that it is confounding with shareaza lite (a lame copy bundled with adware, which certainly share the same reg keys).
Spy sweeper used to work fine but AFAIR it was another app to keep cracked update after update.
Nonetheless ty for the heads up and i also completely agree about using multiple apps, just in case. Smile
