|
 |
Hi!
I have an XBOX 360 flashed with Xtreme Firmware 4.2b and it works fine (lost my original firmware =/), but if the 360 would go nuts and give me "The ring of death".
Do you think I can return the 360 back to Microsoft without the original firmware? I do have the warranty sticker though.
My box is manufactured in June 2006, so I'll have 3-year warranty.
And can I update to the new iXtreme v1.2 firmware without the original firmware? =/
The original firmware were on a USB memory-stick and I accidentally formatted it, can I restore original firmware with some good recovery software? Which?
What do you think?

You can update the firmware without the original firmware and you can restore it as well. Just use the "restore.bat", it doesn't need the original.

Does that work with Toshiba-Samsung MS28 (Xtreme Firmware 4.2b)?

they don't care.
First time i had the ROD i send it back.
The fixed it but either gave a new drive or reset the firmware.
Second time i had the ROD
We will have to see how this one ends up since the box is banned, flashed and broken.
