According to other sources this game should have several difficulty settings and everyonew as advised to start the game from the "hard" mode. However as I started I did not get this option.
Im 6 hours in and I find the game a tad too easy is there any way in changing the difficulty?

Avoid fighting too many standard enemies to make the main game harder because you're playing at a lower level.
Surely anything you can't do; is just a case of spending more time fighting standard badguys to raise your level so that the game becomes easier? so to make it harder the opposite applies no?
Love this game btw, but it's not in the same ballpark as FF12 imho.

im not really liking these "next gen" rpg's so much, it feels to me that most the effort has gone into graphics and not enough into the story. i have played enchanted arm and blue dragon rpg wise on the xbox and found neither are exellent story wise, just hope mass effect is a game worthy of the hype.

yeah blue dragon is seriously lacking in the story department, nonetheless its very much still enjoyable. heres hoping eternal sonata will be better.

6 hours in, and the story doesn't really bother me. It's nice in a saterdaymorning cartoon type of way. Good to plod through, nothing deep or philosophical but I wasn't really expecting it or wanting.
The first disk is supposed to be the weak point, but I'm entertaining myself with it sofar. I like the Classsystem in the sense you can level certain classes to use their skills for your main classes.
The only gripe I have is that it could be a tad harder, but maybe like the japanese version that'll be realised with a downloadable content.

Hey guys, I've been playing this for about 10 hours and I really enjoy it. But it is a tad easy. Wasn't there supposed to be a difficulty level setting? I remember readfing about one. Thanks guys.

CRAP proper reason, they're crying coz they lost the race and they want their 22gb at 3:1 ratio on sites, pff. 66gb credits. I suppose its good for all the currys out there tho.
