Ok, with my uber l33t nforce skills, im going to try and decipher this..everyone..hold onto your pants as it might be a secrect code from a government and reading it..after it's been cracked...might make you disappear...
ok....
To be able to play Lost planet regulary online one has to keep their internet connection active as well as the steam running in the tray and if you lose your internet connection, your steam client will crash and the game wont work (anymore?). Use the original or the Hatred release, and if your able to play the Unleashed copy online then the proven stupidity is yours.
....I think I got it all lol. What a clusterfuck.

indeed is impossible to play online steam games without steam client installed because servers for multi officials or not are all into valve platform then if unleashed have removed the client, the game is not able to connect it online so the multiplayer can't work. and this is all

I personally liked it a lot. It's not game of the year material and the story is....eh so so but the gameplay is fun if you use a gamepad (mouse was a bit clunky, dunno if it was a fixed or not) and the action was good and drivign around mecs was a lot of fun too. I plan on buying it when it gets a bit cheaper.
Is it worth the try...definitely...you might like it...
Is it worth buying...mabye..if it was like 20-30 then i would say yes..if you liked it of course

It doesn't have much replay value unless you really like to drive around in Mecs... The last fight is worth a few replays though.

Lost_Planet_Extreme_Condition_Update_v1.004-HATRED
Does this update work with official scene release or do you have to get the other updates before 1.004 also?

cheap newshosting can't get 72 days, but still it's only $15! |
thought you were using the same host as me that had 101 retnetion for $15.
Anywho you don't need the updates. I don't think anything in SP was fixed, most was just for MP

Here's the changelog via Steam, you can also check the official site but I don't think it will add anything aside from these changes.
http://www.steampowered.com/platform/update_history/index.php?id=6510&skin=0
Aside from the new maps, a few new characters and improved DX10 shaders there isn't any actual fixes or improvements to the game.

Seems like Unleashed released a clone, also seems like Reloaded released a cracked edition and Vitality propered it.
(As long as it works I don't really care how it's done but I guess it's part of the "scene" rules.)
