The Simpsons Movie
Meh 6/10
It's good, but somehow something felt out of place. And it has some annoying bits.

yeah it is excellent movie, NOT
proof of NOT
Spoiler: | it seemed so illogical when the guns were replaced, and the police the took detectives gun instead the right one, they didn't double cross gun registration numbers, and eventually find out that gun belongs to detective.... too silly plot |

argh, cant you just enjoy the movie without thinking too much?
you are like a friend of mine during the simpsons movie "meh, thats impossible, they will sufficate in the dome"
well duh, it is a movie. Not everything has to be 100% accurate, just relax and enjoy.
and the plot is ok, the acting is superb, the feeling i have in the movie was great and the filming was great, so 2 thumbs up:

Yeah plot is ok acting is ok, but such major flaw makes me upset, because it is in very end, thus making everything before that pointless

What, Mission Impossible? Shit trilogy.
First one = Brilliant
Second one = Utter shite (I'm a fan of John Woo, but this is garbage)
Third one = Great, but far from the standard of the first one
Oh yeah, some good trilogies:
Back to the Future Trilogy
Dollars Trilogy
Godfather Trilogy
LOTR Trilogy (even though I'm not a particular LOTR fan)
Alien Trilogy (if you don't count the fourth )
Otherwise the rest just range from not standing up to the forces of times, or they go downhill.

The fact that you put it above the Godfather trilogy is just downright laughable to me. The only really good movie in the Vengeance trilogy is Oldboy.

yeah, oldboy was really quite good, and while i havent seen sympathy for mr, i have seen lady, and the only bit that was really great was the final 20 or so minutes when it all came together... sounds like your just trying to be an elitist asian fanboy by listing that trilogy
if anything, you should have gone with the infernal affairs trilogy if you were going for an asian one.
anyway, as far as im concerned, ill list the alien trilogy as my fav trilogy... even though alien3 was the weakest, it was still a highly enjoyable film in its workprint form, and the atmosphere and style was just fucking awesome.
anyone who votes the matrix trilogy gets their ass voted off the island.

Spoiler: | Just watched the movie last night. The police didn't take the detective's gun. Hopkins switched his gun for the detective's at the hotel, shot his wife, and then the guns got switched again at his house cause the detective took his own gun (after the struggle). The one the police picked up was Hopkins and it of course wasn't fired cause it wasn't the one he used. |

Matrix trilogy is the best! Ok just kidding. I just had to say it cause of my avatar but even I don't think it's the best.
My favorites are probably either Indy trilogy, Die Hard trilogy, original Star War trilogy, or The Evil Dead trilogy.
