Freight Tycoon Inc. is an economic simulation game which challenges players' management skills. It puts one into the shoes of an owner of a cargo transportation company. One has to evaluate the profitability of contracts, contact customers, and appoint drivers to deliver goods.

Office development is also an essential part of success in business. Employing and dismissing workers, buying new vehicles and keeping technical records competently. But one should be aware of rivals which are interested in forcing out your company out of the market.

The game is set in a fully 3D world with various landscapes and season changes. The appearance of buildings, vehicles and headquarters change interactively, so one can see the results.

Freight Tycoon Inc. gives you a unique opportunity to extend the world of Freight Tycoon and create your own cargo transportation empire.

I don't know if you have tried the open version of TTD but if so, good for you Razz if not, you should really try it if you played TTD in the past. OpenTTD has many new features and fixes Wink

The graphics aren't actually atrocious on this. If the gameplay is any good, this might not be so bad.

Game was nice.
Played it alot yesterday, and playing it more today Smile

Nice game for transport / run-a-company-and-get-big-and-rich tycoon fans.

Anyone else getting this?...........When I run the game it runs at like 1 fps no matter if details are set to lowest or highest......doesnt make a change at all...............comletely unplayable at 1 fps. And grafics aint that great so how can performance be that bad? Is it running normal for everyone else?

thought why it runs kinda crap on 7800gtx

i uninstalled it after 10min because of lag, gotta leech it again Evil or Very Mad

It made the graphic driver stop responding, which made the game lock and screen flash every 5 sec

Hmm, sound seems to have dissapeared here. Thought I read something about this in this forum yesterday, but cant seem too find it now...

I deleted it because of the 1fps buggy stuff and see my pc spec, they haven't invented a game that my beast can't handle.

Im liking this game too but I turned it off while I had some dinner and now the damn sound wont work. The music and sound effect sliders are greyed out in the options. Sound works fine in other games and mp3's Sad

Same here. If you open intro movies with Bink player they have sound and music, but when they are run in the game, no music and no sound.

Also uninstall doesn't work (some files are missing), for me at least.

How can you get to the configuration program that is run the first time you run the game?

Also some files are not on the CD which should be there (Acrobat Reader installer, autorun program). Looks like GGS tampered with the image.

If configuration program is run before the game is started then I have sound and music. If that program is not run then I have no sound nor music.

To run configuration program before the game starts (if you disabled it like I did) go to registry "My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nikita\TrackTycoon" and change "ShowSettingsAtLaunch" to 1.

It worked for me.

Does the game crash when you set graphics to max for anyone else? I can play the game on normal settings, but if i set it to max my graphics card driver crashes and my entire system reboots. Is anyone else epperiencing this?

Runs like butter for me with everything maxed out, on 7600GT. I had the sound issue though, and there are missing files on the image that let you access the settings panel after the first time,if the option to display it everytime is not checked. Instead of auto detect for sound device, use direct sound. If you get a missing file error on uninstall, just reinstall it, and then it will uninstall.

This is surprisingly good. Graphics are decent, gameplay is pretty decent.

this game loads painfully slow on my laptop: T7300 2ghz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB of ram and a Geforce 8600GT, anybody else experienced this aswell?
