I never complained about how the game performs I complained that the game was a piece of shit in general. Its like quake but with more open maps & vehicles thrown into the fray. There is nothing inovative or fresh about this concept what so ever. On top of that the Doom Engine is starting to show it's time. But I love how those who call me ignorant because they didn't read my rant properly & make themselves look the fool (Spykez) I hope you enjoyed your moment of glory for the time it lasted. Anyway i've beta tested a multitude of games since the 90's...Im a pc enthusiast & have been building my own pc's since 1997 so im not some stupid ignorant fool. I admit not knowing everything because nobody does. Peace

I got the beta2 demo.
I think it's a pretty fun game however it seems to me it would get boring in a week or 2, it just feels like its missing osmething... it was like a total zerg fest, non stop.

that's not true.
If i'm following a game, reading previews, looking at screens, watching vids, getting all excited and reading this and that and blah blah about so so game coming out, then the game comes out and it's total shit and doesn't have all the stuff the game makers said it should have in it, then I come in for a bashing, not because I just don't like the game but because I feel let down, lied to and spit on by a mother fucker... know what im sayin?

Yes but still holds my comment true as well as the fact this is still beta. IT's not to be judged yet unless it's just the style of the gameplay |

It's not a new Beta2, it's the same. Beta1 was released 6/18/2007 and when Beta2 was released 8/7/2007 it was updated... See? 
Any beta patches will be released through the in-game patch check so..

No, you can play offline against bots. (I don't think you even need a beta key)

New patch was released:
In between appending the finishing touches to Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars, we've also been working on a small client update for the Public Beta. This update will be downloadable through the in-game updater, so all you have to do when it comes out is start up the game and watch the digital magic unfold.
What's changed? Let's go straight to the changelog, shall we?
* Play Computer tab now fully functional in main menu.
* Don't report LAN servers to the master server.
* Sniper Scope fixes.
* Fixed overlapping icons on level load screen.
* Allow support for either EXT or ARB texture_rectangle.
* Fixed exploit where Anansi could block SSM on third objective.
* Fixed bug where Titan view would go crazy if FOV is higher than 90.
* Base player speed returned to original. Upgrade tweaked.

You can use the same key. Though beta 2 requires a new installation |

well, in my experience, beta's sometimes do differ significantly from the finished product. But usually it wont get much better with the final release... ..i m still looking forward to it though
