i think the game has been gold for a while just not announed in a press release. i think they want to sell a lot of copies of cs source through steam first and then have people buy the retail game in the store too. i wouldn't buy two copies but i know there's thousands of hl fanboys that will. it also wouldn't hurt it they released it on the verge of christms.

im pretty sure the reason its not out yet is cause of all the legal shit going on between valve and vvd....

Yeah the game is probably done but they can't really announce that it's gone gold yet cause of all the legal troubles. Valve could say it's done but can't really give a release date cause that's up to VU.

yea vivendi has scrwed up a lot of games, their basically becoming EA. Lords 3 is one of the games they messed up to name one.
