I'm not willing to trade my hours of my Baldur's Gate experience for all your Battlefield/WoW years ...

EDIT: fixed, I'm tired

I wouldn't trade it anyways since both BG and BF are two of my fav games...
And mate, Baldur's was best played coop...

BF 1942 is the only one of those 2 games that I'm still playing though.

Bauldurs Gate sucked ass coop.
Was a greta game... but the coop was AWFUL. Remmeber the inventory opening up for everyone (no matter where you were) when someone talked to a shop keeper? Awful.
they threw coop in at the last minute for that game.

Yeap, in BG1 it was new and not very good, too bad for you you didn't try coop in BG2 and onward. Now THAT was a treat.

Categorize and judge without ever having fun, seems to be the norm. I really want to play it with a couple of friends. Watching a buddy get owned by a zombie is hilarious to me!

This game will very probably be unique and inventive. I suggest you read up on it.

Otherwise... Your loss my bug-eyed friend.

Have you found any info about it being possible to play it over LAN?
Since it's a Steam game won't a connection to steam and a legal copy be required?

I'm definitely buying this one also. It's one of those games I just know I'll be getting at least months of fun out of. Maybe even years.

This game reminds me of that movie "Stay Alive". I'm still wishing they'd turn that into a real game.

Steam usually has demos, which couldn't be that much different? Either way, I'm sure it'll be worth at least a month of zombie killing goodness!

I hope the date is correct and see a summer release. Ok, it's not being optimistic but probably this will come later in the winter.

Nice to see some more in-game footage. This time from Quakecon.

Here's this first-timer floor-loving guy running around mostly confused with his mates while having his mouse sensitivity set to about 753. (either that or he's playing with some sort of gamepad... Haha).
After awhile it seems like they realize that some cooperation would be a good thing.
They are running this game on easy until almost the end of the vid.

HD version here ATM (best in-game quality so far):

Shacknews info and vid:
http://shacknews.com/onearticle.x/48267

And the poorly tube version here (I advice you to DL the HD version):

This game looks AWESOME!

Nemas problemas Wink

No I'm afraid I haven't seen any new release date info yet.

EDIT:
Hmm I wonder what's causing the dark area at 05:07 to become much lighter... Could be the smokers smoke I guess... Could be the camera filming the monitor that reacts in some strange way also I guess.

Looking forward to this great game! The HD version of the trailer from QuakeCon is the way to go. This looks like a 28 Weeks Later game! They don't lumber along they run at you! Shit, this is going to be sweet!

New "release date" "after the Christmas holidays, sometime in 2008".

A bit longer than I expected. Though only a bit since they seem to have a lot of content left to do.

OMFG how cool this game is!
That's insanely intense gameplay!

Finally we see some guys that at least have some clue as how to cooperate.
