booo. they should just stick to fps first, then do a shitty job of porting to consoles like it should be  i dont like games designed for multiple platforms because the pc versions always suffer. always.

This is Epic, and unreal tourney is popular as hell, theres no way on this planet that this game is going to in any form or way suck for PC. Unless they give the rest of the development to someone else. |

yeah it was sarcasm.. i generally think gaming magazines are like most publications... they thrive... hell, most EXIST, on hype and rumor... when its packed and ready on a dvd that goes WITH an edition saying 'crysis demo!!', THEN ill believe it

Seems the release date is set to November.
(First time I hear official news about the release date, most people seem to have expected september but this should help the developers and give them enough time to fix any remaining issues and further optimise the engine.)

I really don't think so that 3 year old system cannot run Crysis. It just depends on level of detail that you will be able to turn on

a 3 year old system can run crysis. ive got a dell 3.0ghz machine with a 128mb graphics card and 2 gigs of ram. im sure that it can play it... though probably not that nicely compared to my new pc.
so dont worry, an old pc im sure will be able to run it... though why anyone would want to play it on such a shitty pc that can only handle running the game at a resolution that would make a gameboy feel proud of itself, is beyond me.
