What the fuck do ya mean? Crysis has the best grafics and best world around your dick! Bioshock is just shocking and has a nice atmosphere, but all the time in the fucking dark? Yeah that's innovative-_- I hate this dark shit all the time....Crysis has everything! Suck it where is Crysis?

To restate the obvious: crytek isnt making farcry 2, they sold the rights to ubisoft and another company makes fc2 with the old farcry1 engine (the announcement together with all the details was at a games convention, me thinks, and google should give you more info) |

Yeah now I'm in the fucking loop! But old Cry Engine 1....no one fucking knows that! They havent announced the fucking engine they're using! I hope it's some nice fuck!
They already said some fuck like: the fire spreads around the fucking forest and ya can shoot trees in every fucking piece you can fucking imagine!

as i said, google is your friend. He just told me, that its ubisoft montreal making the game AND that it is a modified version of the original Cryengine. Ask him yourself, if you dont believe me |

And the cry engine...well the cry engine is fucking wide spread! Grafics like far cry 1 and crysis are so fucking different no one fucking knows how far cry 2 will look like. Maybe like Crysis? Mayber better or maybe fucking worse? We'll see....I think in autumn 2008....
And Crysis 2008 too....

sure, nobody knows what it will look like. But that doesnt absolve you from talking out of your ass, when the information has already been stated more than once in a thread. Considering what others have done with heavily modified inferior engines (e.g. the original halflife) i m confident that ubisoft montreal will make at least a decent if not great game out of it.

You mean UT3? It is being tailored for PC specifically, it will not be a straight port. This is Epic we're talking about here 
Not particularly impressed by the visuals of these scans/shots, but then again they are just that. Visuals seems to be upgraded cryengine1 as stated before, certainly not cryengine2 quality, but I like the setting. However I fear it will be "Far Cry" only in name...
Would like to see it in motion though. |
