I think both games will own. And I just don't see why people are even comparing them, they're very different.
Sure, they're both FPS games, but...
Crysis is a PC game with sandbox maps, huge areas to explore and extremely nice graphics. It focuses more on freedom, graphics and action. It's just alot more mindless than Bioschock, atleast from what we've seen...
Now, Bioshock is not a sandbox shooter, it has an awesome atmosphere however, and nice ways of customizing the way you approach a task.
Both games are pretty different honestly, but I do like both.
Crysis will probably be a game I can play without thinking too much, which I enjoy doing sometimes, I love games where I can just sit down and take it for what it is, where I can just become uber and kill some fucking guys. So shoot me...? Personally, I love the nanosuit, cause I love superhero games and movies, and well, it's kind of in that direction, while not a hero, you'll atleast be super to some extent.
And sometimes I like games where I can take things slow and admire the beauty of the game, and i'm not talking about graphics, i'm talking about the level designs, and Bioshock looks awesome there, it looks very artistic. A game where I can stop and think to myself, do I really want to do that? Should I do that? (for example, killing a little sister, or distracting an enemy instead of just killing it)
I don't know, why even compare both, sounds to me like both will be really great in there own ways. To each their own, but I like both so far, will prolly end up buying Crysis for the Multiplayer, i'll have to try Bioshock first though, but with the looks of things, it looks like a buy for me aswell.
Btw, i'm a little drunk now so if some things don't make sense, sue me,

Personal preference on my end, can't speak for the others. It was cool to begin with but all a sudden the suit makes you super man. Super Jump, Super Speed, Super cloaking no one can see me in front of them, Super Accuracy, Super Strength...they over did it. Watching the videos you have somewhat of a "energy bar" before you can use it again and doesn't seem like it takes very long to come back before you can use something again. Some of the abilities are just ridiculous. There better damn well be an ending sex scene with a super facial |

#1 FACT: All videos showcased as of yet apart from "one" are captured whilst the player is using cheats/hacks/unlimited resources.
#2 FACT: The videos showcased as of yet are ALL performed on Easy mode. Didn't you notice how the player was outrunning a helicopter? The bulk of the game's video was taken in the early days of the AI. The later videos showcase some awesome shit, and they all show clever enemies using dynamic cover (downed trees, foliage/buildings etc) 
I am 100% not a fan boy mate and I'm not having a bitch at you just spreading the word. I'm pretty confident that the game will be much better. I am also looking forward to Bioshock, I'm a heavy gamer myself so i pretty much get my hands on everything that hits the market within the genre's i like  |
actually I think I was the first to bitch about it Granted I'm sure their coded not to die and so forth but the suit abilities is still a bit over drawn. I'm not saying im not gunna play it and not enjoy it, just think that suit is over drawn. I do and MUSt say I like how they have that gun management going on. |

The nanosuit indeed appears to be a bit too overpowered.
But then, the game isn't finished, and things like the nanosuit effects and their durations are things that could easily change before the game is released.
Just like the first time we saw the nanosuit cloak, it made your suit change color to match the color of your surroundings so you are stealthed a bit better. I would have loved it like that.
only in the newer videos it makes you invisible which is a bit odd.
We've also only seen him use the nanosuit against soldiers mainly, so who knows how much use all that stuff will be against the aliens. Maybe they can see you when you're invisible or something, we'll just have to wait and see. I'm sure it'll all be fine.

But you can't forget the fact, that you're fighting against Alienst, not only Chinese bitches! So this suit could feel like your own human dick (cock or dong, donkey, bear, master, machine, bitchstick, penis, tail....) however you wanna name it!!!

well im starting to think the BEST way can hope for is a december release to cash in on xmas... otherwise, i guess 2008 is when it'll be ready.. its just hard to believe that novermber date...

There is no release date and never was, can people pls stop posting estimated release dates? The beta hasnt even started yet i dont think even crytek know when this game will be finished.

they made enough money with Far Cry, I'm sure they'll take as much time as they need to make the game the way they want it. It'll come out eventually.
Look at it from the positive side, the longer it takes, the less buggy and the more optimized it will be when it finally comes out!

What the fuck! Of course theres a release date. A bitch on E3 also said, start of the 4th quarter. And Far Cry 2 will be out in the beginning of 2008, an I think Crysis HAS to come out earlier! I'm very optimistic, the game already looks good and finish (of course some bugs but not major fucky fuck!)

far cry 2 isn't related in anyway to crytek. UBI bought the rights to the game after the first one. Crytek hasn't been on any of them since. And no it's not using the cry engine 2. if you read around you would know ubi still has rights to the original cryengine and are using a modified version of that. |

you disqualified yourself already with that farcry2 = crytek comment, so shouldnt you take your criticism of other people's posts down at least a notch?
Sure, nobody can see into the future, but at least he refers to readily available information from crytek themselves. For all i care, they can release Crysis in 2008 and the others can stop working on FC2 altogether...

Well how the fuck did I disqualify myfuckingself anyhow? Crytek HAS to make the game, because Ubisoft is making it, I'm fucking conerned about the fucking quality!
A great fucking sequel of fucking far cry 1 in the beginning of 2008? You fucking wish that! It takes a year or more to finish that fuck I'm fucking sure about that fucking fuckerfact FUCK IT!
And Crysis is delayed to november so why the fuck do you think it's the last fucking delay? Of course these bitches delay it again, what did you fucking expect?
