yes its bloody hard, you need 5000 fuckin points just to spawn 2 AI units Sad

still nice mod though

Just tried the latest version. If you go around the town, to the right, park a geared up Humvee behind a warehouse and then concentrate on any high value targets that pass through your way - you should find it into the numbers quite quickly.

It's definitely guerilla tactics to begin with, but there are a couple of locations (particularly in the rocky 'mountains') which should provide a good vantage point to knock off a couple of targets before moving around to pick up some stragglers.

I had to shuttle to heal myself once, but after that I kind of got into the swing of things and it felt a lot better. Once you get the M2 Humvee you can start taking out those groups of soldiers with ease.

yea, Im a corperal now and it's nice to have some AI units to go in for the dirty jobs Razz

Completed a couple of missions and the points are coming in quickly... Smile

Hey guys I know this probably was already answered but I couldn't find anything about this problem:
Whenever I try to patch the game I get a ''wrong cd key'' error and I can't install the patch, the game is working ''fine'' except it is all screwed up probably because of my videocard(8800gtx) or Vista, and I was trying to patch to see if this gets corrected but no luck Sad.Any help is appreciated and sorry for my horrible english.

Thanks captain obvious. What I meant was that I thought I caught a post about certain versions/patches/keys etc being required for updating and what not. At 86 pages that is a bit much to dig through if getting this working is anything more complicated than downloading and running.

"Armed.Assault.REAL.PROPER-ViTALiTY with key from Armed_Assault_Keygen-RazorDOX, official 1.05 patch + official 1.08 patch and FairLight's 1.08 crack" works fine

Hi,
Im wanting to purchase this game, infact the original flashpoint was awesome, bought it the day it came out(after upgrading haha like this version!)

Actually waiting for the graphics card to arrive 8800gts, as im running 2 6800's at the mo, and they are slow or vista is shite with sli..

Anyway..

Tried the fairlight 1.08 update, got to the campaign on Delores where you demolish the bridge, but your weapons dissappear after you place the explosives, actually you have five(stachels) but it says objective complete after placing 2, then you cannot click the middle mouse button to bring up the actions menu, and you no longer are carrying a weapon.....

And on the other optional mission where you destroy the convoy, it just stops and waits.. To me these are still signs of fade working...

I rememeber years ago when they said this protection didnt exist... bullshit it does now..and its worse.

If this is a bug, i will not be purchasing this game till this issue is resolved, this system cost me 600 quid basically on an upgrade to be able to play the thing.

Anyone else get this issue?

Cheers

Good evenings sir!... May I have your bank account details and sortcode please...

Those things happened for me when I was playing the cracked version. However I just think it was buggy at the time and not copy protection. I've since replayed with the real purchased version (patched) and not noticed 95% of the stupid niggles I had previously. The disappearing gun in particular.

Incidentally, you don't need to go under the water (or where the tide can get ya). Just plant some bombs underneath the part which is on the ground. It's enough.

the only time i lost my weapons was when i had entered water and started swimming, it's probably a "feature", certainly not the cracks fault anyway. i have my arma on order too, it's just taking them forever (ordered it on the 6:th of july)

At the time I thought it might be a feature too but it happens erratically.

well, there is a serial number entry in the registry, but it is not the same number, so i guess it is either an ID based on the serial or a somewhat computed version of the serial. Just changing from hex to decimal hasnt worked either... ...so i guess i m off to a reinstall, damnit
and thanx for the fast reply, D34Dite

rename current installation folder
start new install from the dvd into the same old folder
after it has asked for the key and starts copying files, kill the installer in task manager
delete the newly created installation folder
rename old installation back

that's how i did it
takes a whole two minutes
