Well the performance bug was that this game has problems with Dual-core processors and On-board sound cards , the only solution to give this game a boost of speed was to turn off the sound acceleration and only use one core to play this game .
Lets hope they fixed this two problems that should have been fixed in the first place now that every on is going to have a dual-core processor . |
I don't got dual-core..
And I got a Creative X-Fi soundcard, and the on-board is disabled.
I hate you.

I left this game until it was patched before giving it a go, I have patched it to 1.66a using the correct crack as it shows it as 1.66a in game, but when I try to connect to the online servers it wants an auth key from me. Is there any way I can play the cracked version online? I really don't want to trawl through 119 pages of this thread.

I was wainting for the patch to start playing this game. Even the patch doesnt fix all bugs, i couldn't wait for the next one (it can last months to came out) and start playing it.
Man, this game is amazing.
I'd preffer a more realistic handling, but hey, nobody is perfect, nor this game.
It well worth buying it just to play online, regardless the remaining bugs and the long wait for patchs

I have managed to get a key that takes me past the auth stage but then it wants to download an update, if I choose yes or no neither will work, any ideas?

Maxi-image I had doesn't work after 1.66a with YASU and DT4.09. Original DVD back in the drive.

Yes. Game starts to load, shows logos, and crashes to the desktop.

Crack is useless, crashes everywhere.

That's what mini/maxi images are for  Maxi images look scary (and big), but are easily compressed with the built in NTFS compressor.

but how should i use it? I have 2 images - full dvd rip, from which i installed the game & MAXI-poseden image from gamescopyworld.com. When I'm trying to run the game with one of these images mounted with daemon 4.12 and with started YASU 1.4 (i've even tried to mount both of them at once), TDU always shows me securom error.
P.S. Sorry for my English, i hope that you can understand me;)

You guys suck.
Are you forgetting how pwned we got the periods that daemon tools was blacklisted/uncracked ? Cracks will always be the best solution (as long as they are properly tested,heh)
P.S.: The crack for the patched TDU works fine btw, the game is a bugfest by itself.

Nah man, game fecks up for me with 1.2patch or whatever (also 1.0 final crack works but sound is fucked up, seems all sound nearly is coming out of the subwoofer lol), I agree I hate clones, got a clone realease of some game a while ago and got it working after painful disk checking and random error messeges, in mboth DT versions Pro and Free...

Your problems are unrelated to the protection, try switching drivers, switching religion etc.
P.S.: I suppose you meant version 1.66a

Tried updating Realtek HD audio drivers, Nvidia ones etc... Didn't work, problems are game crashed starting certain missions, and car prices were way up with 1.2...

Crazy car prices were a problem with a crack for the 1.0 version. Make sure you have the 1.66a patch and the crack for it (by hatred)

just use the DT 4.12.0 Lite (or newer) and maxi image from GCW.
works fine.

That crack had bug also when I checked it out? It deffo crashed for me if not, not bothered about TDU anyway, dont support 360 pad properly and couldnt be arsed playing with keyboard or spending ages configing it...
