A friend of mine who at the moment was alot more connected as far as ftp's went was looking at nforce for releases one day when i was at his place.
I of course checked it out when i got home, sneaked at the forum-pages, registered and that was that 
I think it's about.. hmm, 4-5 years ago soon

used to work with a guy who just seemed to have connections coming from Heaven itself. It was funny cause for awhile before I met him I thought I was a badass IRC mofo, but he'd always know and have stuff way before I would. I was lanning with him one day and saw something in his taskbar. Asked him what it was and he said "fxp". Eventually I got him to spill hit guts cause he seemed to know alot more of the behind the scenes stuff, and he explained .nfo's and stuff (I had always considered em readme's lol). He got me using isonews to check releases, and if I ever had trouble finding something, he'd help me out. I began to clue in and never wanted to be a leech and struck out on my own. I found nforce, and they seemed to keep their shit updated alot more, especially regarding nukes. Not long after that, the other site got FBI'd, and I stuck here. Only started posting somewhat recently, but after that DB stuff my true join date is gone 
Oh, and I moved to a new city, and eventually lost contact with my coworker. I miss getting random ip links with files buried under 50 folders I don't really care anymore about how deep "the scene" goes. It's fun, but the novelty is gone and I just stick around here cause I like the forums

Ya it unfortunatly isn't as fun discussing games as much as it used to be. Got all these kids that come in with retarded "omg game sucks next", used to be discussions and what not. Now it lasts a couple threads then it just turns into flame fests, fanboyisms and engine is better than 10 years ago engine and blah

Haha, Yeah Spyke long ass time no talk. Sold my Vid card so have been PC'less for ages. Seems like I didn't miss out at all on any games

I traded it for a X360 Premium, 2 Wireless controllers, 4 Games, a Wireless networking adapter, and $120. Yes the guy I traded it to got ripped beyond belief.
But I was so anxious to play Forza 2 and see what Gears of War is about and low and behold it's coming to PC.....
I will re-coup though, waiting for the right time to buy a beast of a card again, even though the GTX is around $480 after rebate now.
