I think it's the idea of it. I personally hate movies that revolve around kids. You got the art of magic being controlled by lil punk teenagers who deserve me giving them wedgies and what not. I also don't like the idea of these super mages and shit who could call down armageddon pulling out a lil twig. You DO NOT look threatening with a twig. If they pulled out a huge staff like BITCH IMA CALL DOWN ARMAGEDDON ON YOOZ then ya, it'd be cool but a twig? cmon, you use that in hey look at this bunny jump out of my top hat.
It's all down to personal preference really, I think it's more aimed at the younger crowed and the general mass of us members are 20+
The funny thing is, looking at the dark atmosphere of the last couple of books, JK probably never intended it for the kiddie crowd. That kids got attached to it from the beginning is probably just a strange twist.
I think these are the real spoilers. Also could someone compress all the books into one paragraph Just for the lazy ones who don't want to buy the books.

Those are the real spoilers. New York Times got a copy of the book from a local bookstore and reviewed it. Their review of the book matches up with the photographed copy of the book which those spoilers came from.
OK, my post was related to Harry, Ron, and Hermione and Voldemort.
Spoiler:
Forgot about Snape and Dumbledore, who speaks to Harry like a ghost (Phoenix?) or something... guess Harry has to smke some weed before talking. ^^
At the end Harry destroys a mighty wand.
@Pistolwhip: Yep, that's true. I read the ending, too.
just read an article saying that Canon wants to help find the guy who leaked the book by identifying the camera used. Appearantly the idiot forgot to remove his camera's serial number from the EXIF tags in the pictures and assuming it's been in service at some point they know the owner...

With the s/n you can find where it was manufactured, shipped to, and sold, but to figure out who it was sold to? Only thing I imagine they could to is look at the store's inventory and see the date it was sold. Then they look at the stores surveillance tapes (assuming they have any), and try to get a visual ID of the person... impossible, no?
nono Canon assumes that since the camer4a in question is about 3 years old and has since most likely been in service at least once (nice of them to assume their products don't last 3 years without servicing) and once it's been in service they know the serial # and who it belongs to
just woke up to find mine on the doormat, god those people are stupid for queueing

I've read the frst two of them and you aren't missing out. They are kids books, so a small vocabulary, simple sentences and a simple plot. Not much fun if you're adult or used to reading normal books.
Never read the books, never saw the movies, i seriously dont get the whole
'Harry'-vibe,then again maybe im missing out,am I??
Me neither until I saw the recent movie "Order of the Phoenix" with the wife.
It was a very good movie and looking forward to the next one but when it comes to the books, there are more compelling novels imo.
the only harry potter movie I liked was the one that Alfonso Cuarón directed, only because he made it something more than a kids movie in a series of novels
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
