its the upper right one either way... the xbox has a gravity switch inside it...
find out what ur error code is...
hold the sync button down, then press the eject button, dont let go of the sync button, this will give u ur first number, press the eject button again to get ur second number, dont let go of the sync button, press the eject button again to get ur 3rd number, dont let go of the sync button, and finally press the eject button to get the last number. now u can let go of the sync button.
4 flashing lights = 0
1 flashing light = 1
2 flashing lights = 2
3 flashing lights = 3
im expecting u to get a 0102 error, which is of course, 4 lights, 1 light, 4 lights, 2 lights.

Did anyone here use the xclamp replacement to fix his dead 360?
I just opened mine up and I always thought the problem would be that the xclamps don't properly hold the heatsinks in place anymore, but my heatsinks are not loose at all.
Does that mean it might be the memory that is the problem?
As I'm getting error 0110 which is believed to be memory overheating, is there something else I could try?

well i did the xclamp replacement trick to fix my box, but that helped my 0102 error, ive heard people replace the heat pads on the memory on the underside of the board, i dont know what that has in common with ur 0110 error but i do know the xclamp replacement fixes quite a few problems, certainly fixed mine perfectly.

got the ring of dead a second time today.
First one a few months ago gave error 0102
Second time it gives 0020
First time it was patched already, MS fixed it did not mention anything about the flash.
But returned it clean and unflashed but working again.
Now its still flashed, but also banned.
Curious how this one is going to end up.
But all in all i am amazed how MS could fuck up this bad with the hardware.
getting the ROD 1time alright, but a second time makes me wonder what kind of cheap stuff they threw into this box.

just got them again today on my x-clamp replaced box, but opened her up, cleaned up the heatsinks and put new thermal paste on them and she is good. Lasted a good 5 months from the time of the original x-clamp replacement tho.
