Had my window broken and stereo stolen once. And then another time they stole the fucking car, hot-wired it, drove it to a really random, desolate place, and left it there, didnt steal a thing. Luckily a farmer found it just a few days later.
Both times the damage/stolen parts had a value of about 300€ which is just about the same amount that i have to pay myself on the insurrance (not sure but think it's called excess-payment in english). So both times my car got broken into/stolen i could just as well have had the cheapest insurrance and the cost would have been the same. 
But anyways, feel for you Jenni. Bastards.
