Help please!!! I can't run the game, monitor "says" VIDEO MODE NOT SUPPORTED. I have Hyundai B71A 17'', reslution 1280x1024. How can I run the game??!

Lost Planet runs fine on my comp...
Msi K8n NEO4 nvidia 4 chipset ..Motherbord
AMD Athlon 64 4600+
2 gb Ram
Asus geforce 8800 gtx 768mb pci ex
Win XP Professional SP2

Go to app data folder, open capcom and then the lost planet folder, delete the config.ini and that should solve the problem, u could alternatively open config.ini in notepad and edit the resolution manualy, I would recommend using a lower resolution such as 1024x768 for starters, also ensure game has refresh rate of 60hz incase thats causing the issiue

i has new geforce fx5200 and a athlon xp 2500. it to run best gamez but no run LOST PLANET.

turn your computer off, remove the case, theres a cord going from the PSU to the mother board (the huge circuit board holding all the hardware) Now don't unplugg it, but locate the red wires and removie the coating from them, Once the wire is exposed get a turkey baster and lightly squirt some garlic water on it and let it dry in the sun for about 20 minutes, plug everything back in, reinstall windows xp home, then try it....should work. |

Right, something totally different, i bought the game and im playing the Dx10 Version on Vista. When i play music with Winamp i have 7.1 sound, but when i play this game i only have sound through my front speakers, in the game i see nowhere where i can put it on 7.1 or surround sound or something, has anyone managed to get surround sound with this game? And yes, its installed through Steam, so i don't even know where the game is installed, can't find the folder.

Every time I try and install this it tells me the Steam Servers are busy and to try later, only Ive tried later and it still doesn't work.
Followed the Hatred instructions to the letter, any ideas ?

I tried Hatred's release too and it was a bunch of junk. If you want it for MP then have all the fun you can getting it to work. Otherwise get the Unleashed's version for SP, it's hell of a lot better.

just downloading the unleashed release. They made a custom installer so it installs like a real game instead of going through all that steam bullshit. Then you can just run the game how it should be. |

install the new 1.2 update released by Unleashed (Lost.Planet.Extreme.Condition.v.1.2.Update-Unleashed), that only makes sense with the Hatred version

I have tested the game with vista 64 bit it goes extreme slow when i maxed everything. In res 1680x1050.
in xp it runs much better.
system:
c2d E6600
asus pw5 dh deluxe
2 gig ddr
geforce 8800 GTS
More people with vista 64 bit? Does it runs too extremely slow?

Well for starters that video card is holding you back...a lot. This game is VERY resource hungry, theres beta drivers you can download (see first post) that will help out performance quite a bit. but all in all, get a better card. |

installation still say to me servers are busy.
tried with ngf file from the iso, from the 1.003hatred patch and even 1.2unleashed version.
maybe steam did update the files to check the hatred version?

Well I reversed the drivers back to 158.45 but I still get the same screen, I use the Unleashed version
PS : I have the newest Directx version as well

Hi,
Finally got this game(the one from Hatred), but I'm having problems installing it.
I've used directly the ncf files from the 1.004 patch, but hatred's memorypatcher doesnt work here. It says steam.exe is not running..
How could I fix this? I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate, mayb that's the problem?
Already tried executing the memorypatcher.exe as administrator, but didn't help

i just applied the 1.004 patch by hatred and my multiplayer stopped working. It says no matches found everything i start a quick match. it was still working with 1.003. Any idea whats going on?
any help would be appreciated
