I wanted to play it, but its region locked and EA dont release it in Europe so no pal version.
I'll have to wait for madden i guess.

Humm sounds like a good game..the only problem is that I only have a Xbox not a 360...
I don't think they'll be any xbox version this year...

yeah dizturbd, but I doubt that ncaa 2008 will be released by any group soon.. xbox360 "killed" the first version xbox in term of release.
Might be wrong...

It will be released as soon as someone can get their hands on it. It's not because the 360 is top priority right now. The PS2 version hasn't even been released on the scene, yet and that's definitely still the most popular version due to $400/$500/$600/$700 PS3's (how much are they now?) and the lack of working 360's.

There are a ton of people waiting for this game, so you will know. Nforce didn't stop updating, Devs stopped releasing games. I will do my civic duty and inform you when I see a release.

Im waiting for the PS2 version, hope i dont have to control the whole team this year in Campus Legend mode like last year, im also hoping Super Sim makes it to the ps2 too.

Super sim is fantastic in the campus legend mode. It really helps. I don't think they changed much for the ps2/xbox versions, but I hope they did. Exclusivity sucks!

Personally, I am more excited about the All-pro 2k8 football game.
I played this some last night. As usual, feels like the same old same old.
Was hoping 2k8 would be released by now. Suprosed there's no template for it or a thread (that i see).

Forgive my stupidness but NCAA is what? College football?
What are the differences compared to Madden? (Other than that it's college, if that is what NCAA means  )

javlar, it's not a stupid question mate, I'm not from USa and I asked the same question some years ago.
Just to make it short NCAA stands for National Collegiate Athletic Association.it rules all sports in universuties.
You can consider that NCAA is for Universities sports what NFL is for pro football.
The difference with NFL Madden is that there are more than 32 universities..in fact doezne and dozens of them.. so more teams etc..
Colledge football rules are moreless the same than NFL..but I'm not going in too much details about the few difference.
Basically, in colledge you'll see formations and plays that you would never see in NFL.
Some NCAA teams use a lot of options plays (tripple etc..) , NFL rarely use then at best.
In NCAA the recruitement is different, there is no draft like in NFL.
You have to sign student in a different way, they'll be there at max for 5 years ( 4 regulars + optional red shirt), you play less game par years and there is no SuperBowl but Bowl (plenty of them).
The rank is based on 2 differents vote.. this part I didn't realy cath it... anywxay as long as you win, you'll certainly in the top 10 ^^.
Try it, you'll have some fun.
Last thing, in colledge teams are far from equal.. so if u want to start with a team, go to any NCAA web site and check the previous year final rank.
Personally I go for Notre Dame... not the best but not the worse choice either.

I like the fact you start off in highschool having to win state. Cant wait to do my 4 years and upload my campus legend into madden. I just hope the draft isnt fucked up this year and I can go top 10 in the first for once.

Oh this sounds really nice tbh.
I love Madden but it does get a little tiresome since i've played most of the sequels since the 2000-edition or so and there isn't a great deal of content-change except for the new rosters.
