Right click the chair, not left-click. Then wait a little while.

this is not a kiddy game its way to complicated to be played by kid's.
it does seem like a kids game at the start but as you start to do more evil deed's and unlock new equipment and research potential the game starts to get quite complicated and a little hectic at times.
the game may look like a tycoon kind of game at first but its alot more than that.

your always gonna lose people ,but it gets easyer to steal money as you get better unit's that are less likely to lose a fight.

ive never had alot of money though i just send out 20mercs to the USA when i need to build something then get them to return when i have enough cash lol
if your struggling to make any money you either havent advanced enough in the game and got better unit's or your trying to steal from poor countrys.

Ok thanks man
So when you steal money theres a chance you will be "discovered" and some mercs will get killed?
when you want a higher merc capacity do you build a room with a few beds and loads of lockers, i'm not sure if you need to have equal amount of beds as you have lockers though.

I'm still trying, its a great game and it gets challenging, only thing that bugs me is the uninvited guests at times but it's really funny putting up traps when you figure out how the triggering works lol Smile

as far as i understand beds only let them rest ,you could have 20lockers and one bed but people would lose loyalty and start deserting you.
bed's arent always in use though you just have to find the correct ratio.
eventually you get more advanced lockers that take up less space and let you have more people for less space.
if you watch the map you will see sabre operatives etc apearing on continent's when that happens you suposed to put your people in there country into hiding.
they will come out of hiding and start theiving again on there own.
it seems to be enough just to place them in hiding every so often and they dont attract as much attention and last longer.

the longer your stealing money the more heat you will get from the organisation who protects what ever country your robbing and the more likely they are to get found out and attacked.

i belive notoriety has an impact on how many units you may have under your control so i guess the answer is yes but you shouldnt hit it until near the end of the game.

fisk, you're not making any sense here.. Do you really think that all games with cartoonlike graphics are "kiddie games"?

The one who is not making any sense is you, for I never said that all games with a cartoonish approach was kiddie. If you draw conclusions based on assumption it's what I'd call ignorance.

Ignorance of the validity of my opinion of this game.

You think that I'm wrong in my conclusion that this is a kiddie game, that's all right with me. It does not however change the fact that I do think it's a kiddie game.

Quote:

Are FASISO hentai games kiddie too?

Who said they were? The only one who is drawing such conclusions is you.

Quote:

This game is comical but it's a STRATEGY game. A game like this is really too complex for most under 10 year old kids.

I call Rome: Total War strategy, I call this one a kiddie game... you may find "The Sims", and similar games "Strategic", I call them child's play. We are of different opinions, if you - and all the other people who disagree with me, that got their feelings hurt because they somehow believe that when I think it's a childish game, it would equate to them being childish, and thus resorted into reactionary comments on the validity of my opinion, it doesn't change anything.

Quote:

btw. The ESRB Rating for this is: Teen (13+) for Comic Mischief, Suggestive Themes, Violence

I can't say that I am interested. It doesn't change my opinion, it only solidifies my theory: that you can't handle it.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

well ... Evil Genius is not a kiddie game. it is in cell shaded (or not ... i don't know) but that's the style. not the genre. i don't think a kid (5 years old) could finish or even understand this game. therefor it is not a kiddie game.

I don't know why you even care if someone thinks this is a kid game, because its clearly not.. and it rocks. Very amusing but not so longlifed.

Type humanzee during game play to enable cheat mode. A "Mission successful" message will appear to confirm correct code entry. Once enabled, you have to restart the game to turn off cheat mode. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Effect Code
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Set off explosion/airstirke [Ctrl] + S
Add $100,000 [Ctrl] + C
Add one of every henchman and minion [Ctrl] + A
All items [Ctrl] + O
Toggle Global Chaos [Ctrl] + M or N
All traps [CTRL] + T
Works btw
Hehe what use is all the security when they just come in through the floors continuously? You can't control your heat, as I had no one on the world map and still my base had to be in continuous red alert to prevent saboteurs coming in through hatches and blowing complete rooms up without anyone even bothering. Some more direct control would have been nice, and they definitely should have left the idiotic floor hatches out.
I gave up on this game as it became too frustrating. Too bad, it had so much potential. It was fun in the beginning...
ehhh Ive installed the game and started playing last night, it seems cool, I like the triggering of traps, and all that, should keep me entertained for awhile. I wish they kept the music that plays in the start menu in the demo, those trumpets kicked ass Razz. The only problem I see is that my workers are really stupid, but ive set up an armory with guns and a training center, so in due time Ill fix that problem.... unless thats just how they act.
i have a few of the super spy's on the map now and they like to visit my base the odd time but ivan kick's there ass Laughing
This game is fun, but it would be even greater if they hadn't left out these small parts.. like naming your character, or even clothing him/her?.. and why is there only three masterminds to choose from?.. a bit weak if u ask me.
It's not a RPG. What RTS game has ever allowed you to dress your character.
If you are to be cought by a game atmosphere were u asume the role of an individual, it would be much more fun if you could customize that individuals appearance.
RPG or not.
Build more lockers in the barracks. Remember, you won't need so many beds that you think you will. Mine never sleeps, maybe on or two in each barrack hehe.
OT: The game is really fun, I played it pretty much both today and yesterday. The problem is that my interrogator that questioned the maid has died so I don't have any advanced minions left. I've tried questioning all type of people, agents, tourists etc but I can't convert the investigators. Then there's som bugs like moving furniture/devices, some parts of building. The game also tends to crash for me randomly. Nevermind, I just uninstalled it.
