actually i've got the 93.71 drivers from the official nvidia site and sometimes, when i watch a video, the video becomes black but the audio still plays!..

whenever some drivers from nvidia were released (can't remember wich version, thou they recommended goin' back to version 93.71) i installed 'em and whenever that black screen part had to come, instead of keepin' playin',a blue screen of death appears, pointin' out to one of the nvidia files!!..

Will this problem be solved with the new version on their website, the 94.24 one?..

PD: Using Kazaa Mega Codec Pack last version codecs..

For starters, anything that has kazaa in its name sounds real bad to me, try grabbing the combined community codec pack, search google for cccp.
And good thing you're naming the different driver versions you're trying, but what is the geforce card you are using?

That KAzaa pack is a bunch of BS codecs. I used it a few times and it's plain horrible.

If you need codecs..you use this

AFAIR there are basically the same "BS codecs" and tools in both packs, except that K-lite have far more possible options and is updated far more often... No problem here for years, dismissed CCCP for being too limited for my needs.

@ DV2

Take CCCP is you only need a simple codec pack for playback, K-lite -properly configured- otherwise.
