If this is something you have to think about then you probably shouldn't be going to university. Unless you're majoring in something like Media Studies, even a common chav could pass that.

Why not both?
If you're serious about starting a martial art, don't take up something like wing chung. It's great fun and all if you manage not to start training at a McDojo, but not something that'd be effective against your average street fighter.
Also, you won't become a master in 4 years. In most martial arts, you won't even be a black belt in 4 years. And a black belt is merely a student who has grasped the scope of the art and is capable of independently teaching himself.
You can call yourself a decent instructor after, say, 8-10 years of hard training and some assisting teaching. And only if you're passionate about it. And even then it's hard to actually make a living with it - most instructors just do it as a side-thing.
If you really want to take up a martial art, try Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, or Kyokushin Karate. Perhaps WTF Taekwondo, but that also isn't a very street-effective style, although it does look absolutely awesome.
- Novice Black belt (or comparable, as in the case of Krav Maga) in two different martial arts, practictioner of more.
While I'd normally agree with AnimalMother, I personally feel that if you truly want to dedicate your life toward becoming a martial arts master, you should do it. You might not end up living the most luxurious of lives. Hell, you might even end up as a hobo, but at least you'll be a kickass hobo.

If you do decide on the Martial arts path, try not to become like all dickheads who teach any form of unarmed combat.. ie: stuck up your own arse and so full of yourself.. i dont know why they are like this, and ofc i'm only going by the guys ive known who do it..
I think its possibly a power thing..

I say travel if you are unsure of your future path in life. I think traveling is one of the best ways to get to know yourself plus I think it opens up your mind to future possibilities.
