I was poking around looking for a decent Space 4X, noticed some games that never got any scene releases: SOTS Expansion: Born Of Blood Lost Empire I don't really consider SOTS to be a 4X but I it included anyway. Maybe the expansion makes it more 4X. Lost Empire looks pretty cool. I guess cause neither have boxed version maybe and are only available for direct download?

I think it's against scene rules to "release" a game from a downloaded site like that. Though don't mark my words on that.

Not sure exactly where in the world you are located but, SOTS : Born Of Blood has not yet been released in the US (August 17th 2007) and was just released a couple of weeks ago in Europe (June 29th 2007).

As far as i know neither of those 2 great 4x games has been released.. yet i hope!
