when I ran emule, in the first several hours I downloads pretty good and with fast rates, but after a few days,It barely download anything,I mean, its scraches from 1kbps from beneath.
but when I disconnect the net,and connect again (it changes the IP),and run again emule, then again,it runs perfectly for a few hours.

what can cause this issue? Confused

sounds like ur isp eventually bottlenecks ur emule port, only way to stop it is by disconnecting and reconnecting to get a new ip

FreeDiver - Who's your ISP?
I had the same problem with Barak 013, but since I moved to Bezeqint, a lot of problems like that were sloved. (Barak were also blocking torrentleech tracker, had high pings to Europe and so on)

Normally I would follow in Saints and Leo's path but I just woke up and had a good bowl of cereal.

Some ISP's monitor your traffic, like for instance "utorrent" they offer an encryption option that will do obviously as what it says then your ISP won't throttle you. I had that problem quite a few times till I started using it. All my xfers now are encrypted and haven't been throttled since, and I download about 200+ gigs a month.

lol doubt it, p2p programs like that usually don't worry about safety.

I think DC++ has some sorts of encryption (don't eat me, not so sure), so maybe he should use that.

Laughing I knew the "leet" guys here, will never loose opportunity to bash "p2p people".
Frankly I get all I ever want from private and public BT trackers ,rapidshare uploads ( I got premium there) and IRC.
No much need in uber secret FTP accesses or paying for good newsgroup provider.
I got one emule friend, who sometimes downloads for me stuff from that network, but I'll never ever use that stupid animal myself:).
The providers do shape traffic.Right now I got 2 providers for my internet connection:bezeqint and smiley. When I'm connected thru smiley, p2p proggies speeds are absolutely slow.
I can't DL/UL from/to FTP, I can barely connect to it.But when I'm connected thru Bezeqint everything flies :FTP,torrent,IRC. Rapidshare works fine for both providers thou.
I think, you ,FreeDiver, better ask your question on israeli emule forums.
By the way ,donkey must die. Smile

Ever heard about netvision with their notoriously stupid 5 GB per month limit?
I laughed my ass, when they called a year or two ago:"You dl-ed 60 GB this month while we have 5 GB a month limit.Upgrade to business now or leave." Guess ,what I chose Laughing

Never heard of it, lol. I was a Netvision customer until they ass-raped me, and I swore an oath to never be their customer ever again, even if they offer me 1TB DL/UL free of charge!
Anyway, I had no restriction back then.

Go to http://home.netvision.net.il/
There go to shirut lakohot->tnei shirut
and read the last paragraph at the bottom of the page.As usual in every contract there's always some shitty paragraph, which will screw you, when the wrong time comes. There's nothing one can do about it Laughing
There was a lengthy ynet thread about netvision, where everyone, who suffered from that limit, said, what they think about netvision. But I can't find this page.

Your ISP is probably throttling you but I have never used emule or edonkey. Are torrents throttlled as well.

@anarxist
5GB is useless.

Ye checked netlimiter now and it showed that this year I had 110 GB of incoming traffic per month in average.

Well, not that surprising... I waste 50-60GB on HD movies alone. Games, TV shows, etc also take lots of bw.

I'm assuming this was meant as a question, and if it was then yes they are throttled. That's why utorrent offers the encryption option

as well as azureus
Unfortunately encryption doesn't help with that second provider.
