A friend of mine crashed into my old Audi 80, so had to buy a new car. Wanted an MR2, but to god damn expensive to insure in this expensive country Razz


So, ended up with an Galant 2.0l



Got it cheap, and its japanese. Im happy Razz

I know, but its so confortable. Uses less gas, more extra stuff, like el windows, servo, heat in the seats etc. 8500NOK ^^

You could run that car on piss, and it would still run. Sure, it will probably rust if you don´t take good care of it, but they are among the most reliable cars in the world.

I´ve owned two Opels in my life, one of them racked up 34.000 swedish mil (thats almost 212 000 miles), and it still runs like a clock. If something breaks, it´s cheap as shit to fix. Same goes for most Jap cars.

I think German is good. My van was German.

I think cars lasting has a lot to do with the way you drive it. Too much breaking and gas (I do that in the city because I am used to the slow van, gotta stop it) , or flying over bumps, or driving it really hard before it is warmed up.

Well I actually prefer jap cars it probably does drive quite nice but looks wise even you have to agree its quite lacking Smile
