you need books for reading on your vacation or... you just need something to support your uneven bed, table, couch while you're partying it up with a bunch of hoes?

Seriously? I really enjoy reading, it's relaxing, calms me down and I like how it is no pressure about anything. Read in your own speed and nobody cares.

I'm always reading a book, each one takes about 2 weeks (depending on how much free time I have and how long the book is of course).

Currently I'm sweeping through the Hamilton series by Jan Guillou again. 10 books (eleven if you count the newly released), each about 4-500 pages and I love them. This could very well be the 4th or 5th time I read them all again.

Reading is great because it increases your ability to express yourself, you learn more words, how they are spelled and when to use them of course.

NOTE: a comic is NOT classified as reading...

I'd recommend West World by Michael Crichton but it's exactly the same book as jurassic park. Just different subject matter. Laughing

Tim Robins is pretty good. I really liked "still life with woodpecker"

http://www.amazon.com/Still-Life-Woodpecker-Tom-Robbins/dp/0553348973 Easy read, lots of symbolism. He wrote also "even cow girls get the blues"

Another good book Was "The source" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Source_(novel) That one is historical.

For those who like "Dune", i recommend the prequels by Frank Herbert's son and some other guy:

Prequels to "Dune": House Atreides, House Harkonnen and House Corrino

Prequels to Dune prequels: The Butlerian Jihad, The Machine War and The Battle of Corrin

Harry Potter? :O

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

If you're into twisted stories, anything by Franz Kafka (The Metamorphosis, for example). I think they've bundled everything he wrote in one big book.
