I have a Asus M2N-E SLI MoBo with 2 PCI-E slots, one at 16X other at 8X, I recently bought a BFG 8600GTS, to upgrade my 7600GT.

now my question is the following, atm my 8600GTS is working at 16X, but if I connect my 7600GT in a SLI configuration, both cards will work only at 8X, what would be my optimal perfomance configuration, both cards at 8X, or only the 8600GTS at 16X?

lol u can't plug 8600GTS and 7600GT in sli, 2nd card must be 8600GTS too
