Well...

I HAD to buy a 4x4 because they have plenty of room and believe me if you're going to have trip with your wife and two kids and the trip lasts more than 1 day then they drag along half of the stuff found in your apartment. Basically it's like moving. And ofc ourse you (if you are the husband) have to carry everything to the car and back after the trip.

Do they need all that crap??? NO!!!

But they still drag everything along "for any case you know".

Now try to pack all that into a fancy sports car Very Happy

That car is fuckery! Do you just drive thru the city? Don't get me wrong it looks nice n that but cars like that are stupid unless u a country head.

I live in the city but I also go out of town a lot and have access to a place outside the city. Vancouver is on the ocean but surrounded by mountains. The 4X4 is going to be huge bonus on some of the roads, plus it is better in the snow. I can also go more places (logging roads) kayaking with it. Plus, it carries 4 people and a dog plus stuff.

Also, I need a car that big enough if I am going to be carrying a 21 ft kayak on the top. The roof has to be big enough to support the kayak on roof racks.
