Metacritic
Gamerankings

and then just look around on those sites.
I usually read both good and bad reviews to get the whole picture as reviews of single websites are often not fully objective.

i always check gamerankings since their scores consist of an average score taken from reviews from different sites.. if i need specifics then i just pick a site that gave the game a good score and a site that gave it a bad score.

Yes, yes, both Metacritic and Gamerankings are exceptionally good, their reviews from the games I have played are near as dam it, spot on. Thanks a lot for the guidance guys.

No more do I have to tolerate that festering puke wrote by has-been brain-damaged f***s on GobSnot, they really do need to seek professional help before they hurt someone.

I love how Metacritic and Gamerankings do it, as already said, you get the overall analysis. (the big picture) Can't go wrong really.

My 2 cent : i usually go with gamerankings, i read some lowest score reviews and some higher score ones, usually i get enough info to understand if a game is worthwhile for me or not.

There are only 10 kinds of people : those that understand binaries and those that don't.

Sometimes the big picture (the average of everything) sucks. I go with IGN, but not GameSpot anymore.

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards

Eurogamer is one of my favorites, problem is it's never extensive and rarely early with it's range of reviews.
Excellent site for what's there but.
Other than that I use Gamerankings for ratings then IGN / Gamespot to read a review to get a quick idea of what the games about.

All good. Hehe.

IGN, feels a little like Gamespot where the reviewers are influenced by back handers and Eurogamer keeps my virus checker busy throwing up trojan alerts.

If we're talking the same eurogamer (eurogamer.net) then you need a new virus checker, it's a clean site.

I'm using Firefox and Nod32(latest updated), and every time I start to surf Eurogamer.net, I get this trojan alert, sorry but this does nothing to make me feel more secure. I think it best to stay away until I can figure out what's going on. Confused
