8800GTS is much faster then the 8600GTS in game preformance last I saw test done between the two, so if you can manage get the 8800GTS.

The sandbox2 (crysis realtime editor) ran very well on a 8800GTX. But DiRT on the other hand is not optimized as hell. I have to play it at 800x600, but then again my rig aint above avarage Razz

8600gt is great card for the money but its no 8800. i love my 8600 but i'm not going to spend the big bucks on a 8800. its a bit like comparing a skyline and an enzo, both fantastic but really in different league & both wipe the floor with any civic (skyline=8600, enzo=8800, civic=6600)

intel i7 3770k @4.4, ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, 16GB Corsiar Vengance 1600 ram, ATI 5850 BE, Antec 1 Case, Antec 1 550W PSU, emu0404, 120gb agility3 ssd OS, 2x60gbvertex2raid0 Games, 3 TB total sata2 Data. win7 x64.
