Lol just when i thought no single player game could get my attention anymore i stumble acorss this one. I haven't played long yet but keep laughing my ass of.

I'll have to go and buy this one. Such ideas are worth getting supported.

Ah, that's a shame who130. I'm the same way sometimes. Some games just don't do it in the first 10-15 mins and you just can't get into em.

I don't wanna sound like a spokesman for the controller, but god damn it's nice. The last 4 games that came out (harry potter, transformers, lost planet, overlord) all support it fully Smile It's mainly because everything that comes out for the 360 is getting ported over to PC, with good reason (360 uses a modded dx9 api doesnt it? So it must not be that bad porting it over).

Got this game, but had no time to install or play it until now... but have never seen SO much enthusiasm for a release at nforce since a LONG time Very Happy

short question:
Has this game a good tutorial to learn the game mechanics? - according to this thread there is a lot of things to do and controls arent that easy, with all these "minions" and stuff....

thx Confused

I realized what it reminds me of. It's like being Sauron from Lord of the Rings and a million Golems won't stop following you around doing everything for you!

I got so bored of the game, simply because it feels as if somebody else is playing for you! Hold down left click, let own. Meh. Back to Titan Quest! Which is hilariously similar to Diablo II in gameplay AND level design. 2nd level desert, 3rd forest, etc.

Where is the innovation these days??

always wait till he starts rolling, then stand behind him and attack. if he faces you, he will start rolling again. just repeat until he is dead.

and @dredziol
the blue lair is in the city with all the zombies, where you have to find the cure.

Whoray, I beated the game today! It was quite short I suppose... But I suspect there are other endings too. Really easy game, although I got stuck a couple of times and it was pretty annoying. I don't have the nerves to replay the game and beat it with 100% corruption, because when I beated it today, I was at 0% corruption...

Is there a button to interact with your 'wife'? Someone said you could upgrade your castle through her.

Something like that. Smile

To interact with her, upgrade your tower (put a lot of decoration), then your wife will call you in the private headquarters. You know what to do next Wink ...

My progress so far : can summon 50 minions, still experimenting with forging stuff, and have to kill "Kahn" and the "Wizzard".

The game is really cool, but the performance of the game is awful. I have C2D 6420, 8800 GTS 640MB, 1GB 800Mhz Ram, Windows XP. The game works fine, but I think it shouldn't be so choppy at high settings. It has to be optimized. I have heard that Codemasters have put a 30fps cap....

And there are quite a lot of bugs and and things to be fixed. I would like to see an arrow when I am sweeping with the minions. It would be so much easier to see where they are going with an arrow!!!

Since you are WAAAY further then me, i think you can help me Razz

Dudes, how fast are you? Very Happy

I finished Meadows, Castle, Elven Forrest and Heavens Gate. Getting to Dwarf land now..and my savegame timer says 23hrs 20mins (!!) And I'm still a tad away from finish I guess Very Happy
Can summon 30 minions now.
A trainer for unlimited minion supply would be nice, its kinda exhausting collecting hundreds of energy balls just for upgrading your weapon 10% or putting 500 in the helmet to get 4 extra minions -.-.
I tried modifying the hex variables with tsearch and it did work, but the game always crashes before an autosave if I modify the minion count, thus not keeping them. (Visual Studio just-in-time debugger error)

And I got another question, I dumped my castle bitch in favor for her evil sister. Now I can upgrade the Red and Green minions. What if I would've kept the lesser evil one? Can I upgrade the Blues and Browns then?

Game runs supersmooth here man, you shouldn't have bought a GTS, play it on a GTX and you can run this on 100+ fps on 1600x1200 with full detail. So it doesn't need optimizing it just needs a PC up to date with its time:)

100+fps? Doubtful.

Dude, GTX is maybe the most powerful GPU! I would undarstand if Crysis is choppy on GTS, but Overlord, come on! Think about it, its not the PC... Maybe the software....
