for those who allready played it!! DOES SYSTEM link work? or is there LIVE options in that beta version!!!

no, there isnt any system link in the game, so we will have to wait for the original to be released to be able to play on xbox live (which i cant wait to do  )
but let me tell you that the game is fantastic, its smooth as hell, i noticed during a replay of a goal that a player kept flickering on and off so im so sure it isnt the final code, i have been an avid player of winning eleven 8 and pes series for years, and i can confirm it is a direct port of the ps2 game, it plays exactly the same, with exactly the same gameplay so we wont be disappointed, i would say that the graphics are a tad sharper than the ps2 version which is always a bonus
after extra time on penalties i couldnt control the direction of the keeper and the penalty kick taker, but ive only tried it once and it may have been a bug in my xbox but i dought it as i tried a penalty shootout afterwards and it was fine.
also, when using a ps2 controller with the xbox/ps2 adapter i noticed that the run button had changed from r1 to r2, ive not double checked the settings yet to see whether all buttons are user definable
but let me say, if this is the 80% finished game, we are in for a treat when its 100% done, and i will be first in line to get the original to be able to play xbox live.
i hope this answers a few questions, its a shame about system link, but did you really think a football game needs system link normally when its only normally played with 2 people, so 2 tv screens and 2 xbox's wouldnt be needed....yes i understand from an xbconnect/kai persons view, and im equally upset that ive got to wait until november 12th to play online, but lets just be grateful that this stunning game has finally arrived onto the system

ps. can someone double check that penalty thing as i have to go to work now and wont have time to check it throughout the day, oh and for the post above, yes there are live options on the release, but they aint any good as we cant use the backup on live

not sure,think main reason behind it is cause of the fuss about no compression with the rar files... but with this re-pack i can only assume it would solve some of the bugs i've read above b4 assuming whoever wrote the bugs has there box switched to pal and not ntsc cause that would explain problems for a kick off.... can somebody confirm what one i should be getting

for those who are currently still getting this game don't worry about the re-pack there is no difference in the game,it's been done simply cause of the way of it was packed and leaked on the net,not done in the proper way or summat but it don't effect the game no changes on that front

Thats a strange thing to assume. It's obviously the same version of the game that has been repacked with better compression on the rars to satisfy the nukers. Nothing to do with any of the bugs that people have had in the game.

thats normal dude, the running button R1 is actually R2 on ps2. coz the R and L trigger on xbox is R1 and R2 on ps2.
we need to know if u can change this in control options!!
pleaase say yes! or else we cant use the converters for anything!

who r the one's experiencing problems when playing this game,...i know with games in the past ppl complain b4 checking that they have there xbox siwtched to the right mode,ie should be on pal for this so ur you've got it on ntsc sure the game will work but problems will occur

what a piece of crap this is,no real player names,no decent commentary and the audio background sucks bigtime.
Graphics ain't great either,my 1st throughts was it was a 90's game rather than 2004
should be re-named to POS4
Think i grab fifa 2005 instead and play a decent game of footie

To each his own. But gameplay wise I would pick this over fifa anytime.
To sum it up, your missing out if you dis this in favour of fifa.

I read somewhere that the anti-aliasing had not been applied to the graphics yet as this only the 80% completed game. I have noticed a couple of glitches on the replay videos too. This is the beta, reserve judgement when the full final game is released.

Yo i just got this baby but it wont work mannn
I got a rather old chip (executer 1 I belive) but al the other recent games are al working fine (fable, burnout etc etc)
what the problem?? I cant get pass the xbox/microsoft logo
i tried to copy it to the hdd wit dev2xbox but still nothing happens

I got the dvd from a friend of mine(he does all the download stuff) but i tought dvd2xbox does the patching for you??
So i put the dvd in my pc and open it with xISO??

Or I connect wmy pc with my xbox >>> copy the pes4 folder to my pc hdd >> patch the default.xbe with xISO>> and then copy the new pes4 to my xbox hdd???
