never said he couldnt do what he wants. just wondered why he'd need someone else to tell him what to or what not to like. its very odd that ppl put so much faith into what others think is good or bad or right or wrong and just follow it.
weird world we live in.....

and the games good, havent hit the timeskip yet but its enjoyable. more so than that gta crap. now here come the flames about how gta is god blah blah blah. i dont like it and thats that, no need to bitch about it.

Thank you _G1zm0. That's exactly why I'm asking. I usually don't download games unless I've been tracking its progress and have anticipated it. Driver: Parallel Lines is a game that I haven't been watching as I haven't enjoyed the previous ones as much as any installment of the GTA series, so I'd love a mini-review or two to get a grip on if it's worth the trouble of the 4 gigs of download.

Do you download every game that comes out IcedFreon, in case it might be good despite what others say? If you do, good for you. I don't have an extremely fast connection, and it's shared accross 3 computers, so why hog it downloading a game that isn't worth my trouble in the first place? I don't follow what others say blindly, I just want an opinion or two to make up my mind.

I totally understand ur point, ur way of wording it was just a little harsh in my opinion... but let's not let small misunderstandings ruin our beautiful day.

DarkLeftos: |IcedFreon| thinks it's good Smile I downloaded the vitality, and I'm gonna find the FLT crack and try it, and get back to u with my views Smile

Apparently there's something wrong with the vitality crack - something about the guns being invisible, and something about some inf-ammo that shouldn't be Smile FLT released a proper

Meh, there's an ISP here in Greece that offers 24mbit, but I'm stuck with mine (4mbit) till the end of contract. And anyway, I shall be moving for University soon, so bye-bye high speed access...

Anyway, I guess I've seen enough good words to give it those 4 hours for the download and see how it goes.

Well... Actually... Yeah, now that you mention it. Goddamn, how could I've forgotten about it?

For a moment there my mind went blank. I couldn't be looking more forward to it.

According to the game I am at 58% progress and arrived in the 2006 era. It's defintely a GTA clone but a rather weak one. It delivers less then GTA and what it delivers is done worse. But it's still very enjoyable, there were some cool missions so far and the story telling with the CGI movies is nicely done. Driving is cool, the on-foot missions are horrible due to the bad controls but they are a minority in the game.

It reminds me a bit of the Scarface game.Terrible graphics, lousy controls, not the best gameplay but man, did I have fun with that game!

U sum it up pretty well - I'm still in the 70's tho, but so far, I'm impressed with the storytelling - and to some extent the driving is fun! Not too much to do tho, in terms of open-endedness, it's pretty much just driving around... GTA had alot more options imo, but so far I'm still enjoying just doing the driving missions and so on - I wish it felt more like being in NYC tho - fx. I went to the chrysler building, and there's nothing u can do, or get up there, or anything.

So... I don't think it has alot of replayability, but so far the story is fun enough to keep playing....

played hour or two on max details and 1280x1024 and...i can say now after i took breake from the game ,that- i do not feel like keep playing, witch means ....another disapointment for me Sad

its just not feel's good..i like to shoot cars while chasing, but again the races missions and police cars AI suck as..chases on most wanted mutch mutch better...so if the driving parts and walking parts sucks..what do we have left?

i need crysis,stranglehold,overlord,bioshock,hl2e2 and i hope they will not suck.

That's what I've heard from most people. That it is interesting at first but starts to get repetitive and boring after a while. Well, my download's just finished, so I'll soon be able to give you my 2p as well.
