Umm.. That doesn't seem to work for me. When I try to close that screen it shows briefly another screen which says something like "Must be logged in to get achievments" and then goes back to the live box again.
Any clues as to what i am missingt?

I keep doing it and it seems to work, I do get similar messages sometimes.
Ok, just doubled checked. When I start the game I get a message saying I've signed in (during the first video).. When I get to the live status screen I click on the red B (back) button, get the message you mentioned.. click ok and am directed to the main menu.

Unfortunately, I get sent right back to the live box and cannot press the "OK" button as i don't get a chance to do so.... Something is obviously wrong and I'm not usre if it's my XP setup or the XP hack. Going to try it under Vista and see if i get the same issues.. Thanks for the help though!

Got it working,
still rotated screen, fixed it by using windowed mode. So if anyone knows a fix, let me know!
Also the game feels like its lagging a bit when using the mouse... i think thats one of the things to make it "balanced" versus the consoles... yeah right...

Game has this "something" it had/has potential to be a fun team based shooter, but it lacks on gameplay if you ask me.
The controls / settings / etc work, but it feels optimized for consoles and not for the PC. Using your mouse is very frustrating when you just "slide" over your opponent because you have some mouse lag when rotating.
Anyone who uses a controler can confirm this?
So imo a fun game to play, but it comes short to be a good online shooter. If it works properly with controlers, it might a great game for Xbox 360 ppl.

The Retail version without any workarounds only work on Vista as they want to combine Vista and Xbox Live, but for some reason they don't want to support XP with it.

thats exacly what i said few lines above, this will not be the next unreal or the next counter strike...there is something missing in it. |

The graphics are dated, Counterstrike CS looks way better, and the CS models are more realistic. Didn't find any map editors and mod tools, I guess it means no new maps.
Tthe game itself gets boring pretty quick.
Verdict : 30 minutes of play and uninstall.

Wtf elves and trolls are unrealistic? NO WAY. Turn up the settings, it's on par with CS Source, and has better lighting.
I could see myself playing the game for an hour or so with friends, but with no stat tracking, no rewards and nothing that really sets it apart, it's not a game that will last.
Why I liked it? It works. It runs well. It's optimized. That's a 1 in 10 thing with games these days, and for that I applaud this title. I still wouldn't play it for very long, but I'm not going to be as harsh as akanafene.
It's basically the Warcraft3 mod for Counter Strike taken to the next level. It could have been done much better, and a stat tracking system / unlockable reward system would have made this game a hell of a lot more fun. (You can't give players an online shooter with no long-term options).

The version for Sega Genesis is still a great game.A true classic and it sure beats this new version to crap.It captures what Shadowrun is really about.
Loved the one on the SNES as well.They can take their Online shooter and shove it where it hurts.They really disgraced the legacy with this garbage.

It has the same shit like in Halo 2 , play with mouse and you hit shit , you get a lag or the mouse becomes over sensitive BUT if you plug in a pad any pad magically you hit every thing - Auto-aim |

what drivers are you using to play it under xp? cause game hangs here in the menu here ;( on 160.03 drivers
AMD 64 3800+ ~2.7Ghz, 2GB Ram, GF 7800gs + bliss 512 RAM...

ehhh game keeps crashing to desktop from main menu, even sometimes boots my pc :/ any ideas? i have pc that meets requirements and i dunno whats going on... is it possible that i have bad gfx drivers (160.3) ? daaaaaamn

It crashes at regular intervals , so we all need wait for razor1991 fix or that other company to make lib's to run vista games on XP.
