Can be true, an arrow travels at about 300 fps (average), after a dozen tries, and knowing the flight path and that he has to grab the arrow immediately after the shooter releases the bow... it can be done..
Course he could also have a bad catch and thing go wrong... whatever

Thats not the average speed of an arrow, it varies massively depending on the bow used, the arrow used and the archer. The arrow in this video was going nowhere near 300fps.
I think it's possible, but it's less about his reactions and more about the amount of practice he's had. With that protective glove and a blunt arrow the danger is minimal, he just needs to time it right.
I bet if he had to catch it at a different angle or from a different distance he wouldn't have a chance.

I had to check an archery site to base my theory upon... dunno if its accurate
Anyway... my argument is still valid, as is yours
