Does anyone here have a physic card? I mean, how big difference does it make? And why can't they just make it optional to install the Aegis drivers ? Sad

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Approximately -60% framerate for using that crap.

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards
Bravery is not a function of firepower.

Cause the game is coded that way it has no built in physics engine like other games has. And the only difference of having an ageia is that it can handle and show more objects on the screen hardly anything to die for.

I know what aegis is, but if they had made a proper game engine they shouldnt have to force people to install those drivers.

when i removed the drivers it complained it couldnt find them. In GRAW you could remove the drivers but with graw 2 it wouldnt run for me, and the crash specifically said it couldnt find the physx drivers

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 will feature changing climate, improved AI, an advanced Cross-Com system, air strikes from jet fighters, new weapons and a new soldier class, the Medic. The game also features an innovative PhysX hardware bonus level that delivers an action-packed, physics-intensive mission available exclusively to owners of the AGEIA PhysX accelerator.

Are there any sales figures available on that Ageia card? Kinda curious to see how far in the red they've driven themselves with the tireless promotion of a useless product. At least the price is down to like $150ish (according to newegg). I think I remember it running upwards of $300 dollars when they first started touting the shit...

Glad it never caught on...devs take months upon months to get graphical glitches/framerate sorted...add PhysX bugs and the poor bastards wouldn't know what to do with themselves.

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Nice post count. Laughing Anyway changes they made could have been made with patch. There is no need for a new game but hey they need to live from something...

I tried the demo of this game and before that i ran the systemrequirements tool included, and it gives me a failure on my processor, it tells me that it doesn't meet the minimum requirement which is 2.8GHZ PENTIUM 4 or AMD Athlon. I got a AMD Athlon 3800+ X2 which is more than minimum for this game.. WTF?

Its not the point in does it work fine or not.The point is that the game cant reckognize dual core processors.

Looks dumb... Physics for the sake of physics only is stupid. And from what I've seen, blowing a building is just to show off their stupid card. No real gameplay improvements, so meh...

No, your wrong. As long as the game works - who the hell cares if it says that it doesnt recognize your cpu?
