I was in a private multiplayer game.

They were right next to eachother, stood around for about 5 seconds, then ran off in opposite directions.

But if you say they fight, that brings back a little hope... Have you actually seen them fight? Or did you read from somewhere else?

Now having played the game a fair bit - i agree with some of the earlier posts - the maps are this game's achilles heel.

They are way too small and poorly designed. The game just becomes a shoot-fest. I know it is early - but will there be a modding community for this game?Has Lucas arsts supplied the code?

I went out and bought this because I enjoyed the Xbox demo so much. My brother d/l'd it. He called me tonight saying he could play online using the CD-keys listed for the install. Apparently it does work online w/o a valid key. Also, the "Server is full" stuff is happening to me (with the retail game) as well, even on servers showing 20/40. Seriously not cool, you like to think that you get better support/quality/whatever when you actually buy the game, but in this case the opposite almost seems true.

I'm really waiting to see what kind of support they are going to offer here. If there first patch comes in a decently timely fashion, and addresses some real issues, I'll be purchasing this title.

Ill purchase this when they decide to add some decent maps that arnt the size of my living room.

Dude get in that xwing and fly around at 2mph because the maps so small you will run into shit if you go any faster! Dont forget that your totally useless at that speed cause you are so easy to shoot!

To be fair theres like 1 or 2 maps of decent size, but who are they kidding here.

And even then it would have to be free map releases, if they have the nerve to charge through an expansion pack (unless its a fucking awesome one) then forget that. I think people need to send a msg to these companies, we wont buy your games if they are dumbed down because you wanted to make it a console port.

hy is there no working solution for private servers for this game? The game is too laggy and buggy for me to buy it but I'd sure like to blast some rebel scum into obvilion every once in a while. Virtually every online game has a working private server patch so are the groups not interested in cracking this one or why is there no private server patch for this game? The one by Vengeance DOES NOT WORK, why is it NOT NUKED?

What would be the point in that, the heroes are invincible.

No they aren't. Razz

There are several ways to kill them. They respawn though.

Well avirox looks like your trick doesn't work with the new patch. Now I'm getting that invalid cd-key thing.

Hey San_Lopez,

you've asked your question in the wrong forum. I've posted your question in the "PC Games Technical" forum...

Remove all SW:BF references from the registry, and then you can play online! (and install the private server fix)

wait for at least 12 secs when joining
