Anyone tried that ? I like the keyboard design, and I want a small one, not that big Logitech G15 one, so it seems ok for me.

But what about the mouse ? It's 1000dpi, and I actually wanted to buy a Logitech G7 at first but I want both a nice keyboard and a G7, which you can't find in a pack, and I don't want to buy that MS pack just for the keyboard, so I was thinking of actually keeping the MS mouse.

I know the G7 is 2000dpi, but would it change a thing since I'm using a 17" LCD in 1280x1024 ? Do you think it's a good pack ?

Thanks.

Ok, so since you tried that MS mouse, does it REALLY differ from the G5/G7 ? Got a friend who has the G5 so i'll compare. I think i'll order that MS pack and try it myself, but it's nice to see i'm not the only one who likes the keyboard, even though it's MS Wink

No wai!1! Onboard Flash profiles, on/off lights, 2000 DPI, a more comforting DPI switcher and the ergonomic design of the intelli mouse!

G5 + G15 FTW. Every single piece of pc gaming hw that I've tried going wireless with has had so many damn probs I've given up on anything bluetooth/rf/infared/whatever. Except for gamepads, I'm stickin to the wires until they make something 100% hassle free.

Oh and besides that the keyboard has the whole laptop cursor key placement thing going on. Which is fine for laptops, because of limited space and all, but for desktops leave the damn keys where they should be.

So yeah, if its for a media center pc, fine. But for a gaming rig? Hell no.

the G15 is too "geeky" for me so that's a no, I don't want a tank on my desktop. Smile
G15 is far from being perfect if you ask me, it's too big and the LCD screen is useless. Oh, and it's expensive for something USB 1.1.

Well hell, if I wanted my setup to just look good, "sexy" or something, I'd go with an apple. And the lcd is only useless if you dont know where to look. I have it setup in both windows and linux, in windows I have it reporting fraps info and cpu/gpu heat and usage info. In linux I have it monitoring statistics on my server running in the closet, checking bandwidth and processor loads so i dont have to putty in everytime. So yeah if that's your definition of useless, fine it is.

Anyways to each their own, to me anyways, the g15 is as close to perfect as it gets.

Bought this kit, the keyboard is perfect, but the mouse sucks, not because of its precision, but because when I dl/ at like +500kb/s with my WiFi, it causes interferences with the mouse and thus the mouse lags Sad

But i'm pretty sure it's the same with Logitech mouses since it uses 2.4Ghz as well.
