Anyone knows how to pass this? Without buying a new graphic.

You're screwed, you need one period. Either a geforce 6 as the minumum or any of the x1300/1600/1900's from ati.

					| |
					| I had probs with launching the game like some other ppl, but all resolved when i copied image to local drive (it was on share on my network), so it is matter where the image is.
 So my solution:
 • Win XP SP2, C2D 3+Ghz, 3G, GF 8800GTS640
 • Install DT v4.091HE + SPTD v1.47
 • Unpack image (*.mds+*.mdf) to LOCAL drive (IDE or SATA, SATA in my case).
 • Mount *.mds in DT
 • Install the game, SFshit, Reboot
 • launch the game from ANY shortcut.
 • NO need of ANY emulation options in DT or any additionlal software sach as Yasu.
 • Runs normal on my hardware at 1680x1050 at Ultra grafic ingame settings.
 • Soon I'll try to update to 1.1 patch

Well, you can't drive with Co-Driver in all races. You can only get Co-Drivers instructions in rally stages, not in Hill Climb, Cross, and others.

					| |
					| I installed patch 1.1 the game works fine. You shouldn't have any troubles running the game after patching, at least I didn't.
There aren't any major differences. Maybe the game runs a little better but I am not very sure.

					| SPDT 1.49 is out, anyone already tested?
http://disc-tools.com/download/sptdbeta

Will do so tomorrow, 1.47 seems to have some bugs (not for me though).

					| Just started career, seemed better than I hoped for (ony online so far). But in the second race I lost a wheel, tried to restart and got CTD. Well maybe it's on purpose "drive better, or don't drive at all!"
My FPS has been just fine after and before the patch, solid 30+ 1280x1024, all medium (blur off) 2xAA 8xHQ AF, doesn't matter if there is 1 or 10 cars. Might just have to remove those postprossessing thingies, or I'll go blind soon. It's gravel, it doesn't reflect, you silly programmers!

edit: if someone has made a 50% HDR setting already, would be greatly appriciated. Don't want to take out everything and editing all tracks effect files doesn't seem so tempting. Something in the middle of these shots (the 4th post) would be perfect, as I do like the effects, they are just done over the top.

PROPER NOTES

Looks like the first Colin McRae DiRT rls wasn't

properly working. In fact game start resulted to

be pretty often faulty.

Some tests showed this was caused by a wrongly

made dpm that couldn't emulate the protection in

the right way. So here's a 100% working rls.

You won't experience same issues as the previous

rls. Njoy and have fun!
