Nice game if you like 25FPS max, lagging peace of shit game.
omg wtf did they do... the game is fun but at 25fps it SUCKS...

Hey guys,
I'm new here. I have a question about this game.
Does any of you guys have the same problem as me, i'm just not able to watch replays.
I can't select after a race its just standing there being grey....
You guys got any clue what might be the cause of that?

You got a memory card.. and no HD, right?
I think u need a HD for replays.

I have done it myself with a PS2 I did at GAME, I actually put a knackered modded ps2 in the place of the new one and took it back the same day and got a full refund no probs, they always suggest an exchange but by law you are entitled to a refund if something you bought doesnt work properly aslong as it goes back within a certain amount of time, as I remember they never even checked the ps2 they just made sure it was in their I could have probably put an empty shell in it.
Dont know what one of you is on about 25fps you playing it on a pc?
It runs fine on m 360 the only time I have seen any lag is in a massive crash with lots of AI vehicles, myabe you are using the firmware with the disc read speed set lower? that can cause games to run choppy.

at last a real comment on the game, its true what have they done to this game, handeling shit, (wots with the fps:this game game is not running at fullspec thats what it seems like), nothing like forze 2, lags,
i suppose IGN would disagree
i think the best bit of the game is the title selection screen.
and wots with the multiplayer, all u do is race against other peoples times, would be better racing against other cars.
6/10 for this one my i think others would disagree

I would disagree I've been playing it all day and it barely ever lags unless a situation arises that most next-gen games tend to slow down with, maybe your 360 is on its way out?

Lagging or not, but this game feels really slow, like when u are doing 200km/h it feels more like 100km/h.
Nice game, but I think they sacrified gameplay for the graphics, sadly.

very true,wot i mean by lagging is it does nt feel smooth, and the graphics dont run smooth, and i think thats wot the other guy ment saying about low FPS.
and i agree with the :sacrified Gameplay over Graphics:

in forze 2 graphics runn alot smoother

How exactly did you detect that it's 25 FPS? |

except your mac address is registered 2 u at like a postcode via your ip, so if u have been online with this xbox and microsoft get it back with a breif description of whats occured then contact your isp with the ip then they may get in contact with u. have a good excuse ready.
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

the DNL version is a dirty repack of the Spare version with the fix included - still a risk on LIVE due to new video problem that MS can could detect with 1 or 1.2 ixtreme.
Sorta puts a mockery on the whole ixtreme release and protection when we get release's like this, all about race to win pre - rather check if ok

rofl...Well he does have forza 2 and he likes that. Just interesting how people can detect framerates like that without bio-mods.

so how do u know ms can detect your running a back up?
plus were do you get this information from?

it was funny I got online with the game last night and after finishing the race, my time was on the online score board and there were abt 5-6 guys other than me who were from USA and Canada, all obviously playing the scene release...lol
is there any way to reduce the sensitivity of the sticks...it doesnt feel natural at all, more like a cottonball floating thru air

Querstion about the fix:
a) Did Spare mess up the video-partition or
b) has MS changed it (like with Crackdown) but iXtreme doesn't accept this "new" video-partition? This could make anyone who "fixes" the game an easy target for MS (of course, only IF they really check video-partition, DMI,...).

DNL version is now OK, Spare release do not use - even with patches
It was checked today against a real retail uk version and the Spare release has different bytes, where as the DNL release is 100% the same as retail.

the 3 red light issue is due to mobo warpage under excessive heat, where the gpu or cpu loses contact with the mobo. this is caused by the x-clamps that ms use to hold the heat sinks on both the gpu and cpu. these x-clamps need to be replaced.
this means that putting ur xbox under excessive heat on purpose, such as with the towel trick, will cause the solder to reflow allowing u some time to play ur 360 but causing more long term damage in terms of mobo warpage in the long run.
look on the xbox-scene forum, there are tutorials there, if u have any experience with computer hardware then it is a relatively easy solution.

Well I have been playing games for over 15 years now... I know
if you want to see for your self...
start let's say counterstrike, and limit the FPS on 25 and play for 10 mins...
Than play again with FPS on let's say 100 and you will see |
