HOLY SHIT, been playing for like 20m with the patch 1.1 !!! The game runs GREAT now, with everything maxed!!! im getting over 50 FPS in all tracks even with many cars on a single race!!! im not joking!

Patch 1.1 works with CLONE indeed, just checked it out, but I didn't get any performance improvements though.

I have better performance too with the update 1.1.
I can go to 1280x960 with high/ultra settings without problems...
But, i change a thing in audio settings, changing openal to software.
So i'm not sure, it isn't this settings who give me better results (it shouln't but ...)

is not that! im using directsound3d ! and everyone with an xfi should use directsound3d, open al and soft sucks! open al is good for vista only.
Now that the game runs great, im going to buy it soon it hits the stores here.
For the people who cant run the game do this
1. You must have the LASTEST daemon tools.
2. You must only have one virtual drive on DT, not 2 !
3. Disable alchool 120% and virtual drives, yasu and shit !
4. In emulation @ DT, turn everything OFF.
5. Use XP SP2, not Vista (Looks like Vista has some problem with the SF DRIVERS)
6. Disable any raid shit, usb conections!!
7. Install the game, and patch it to 1.1
8. Mount image in DT, on a single virtual drive, Play the damn game!!!!
Do this and the game works!!! 100% shore!

cheezz im just trying to help here man, so much hate here in this forum... if the game works for you, for other people dont.. and it can be many reasons we dont know..
Some users are reporting problems with the game under VISTA, so read before you post.
Point 8 is not BS, im saying that you must have only one virtual drive to mount, and if you have more then 1 virtual drive, turn the others OFF... is so hard to understand?
Who knows if this is the problem?

I do have clean XP SP2 install, game dont start after a minute of checking CD
I do have clean Vista install and game starts randomly btw 5s to 1 minute.
Alt + tabbing dont work well, PC reset or cant get back in game.

that doesn't seem to do the trick for me..
I'll try Vista too (dling it now).
one thing I don't understand, is why do I get "unique" error (identification shit). I haven't seen this problem with anyone else... 
And one more thing. If everyone use the same method to run the game, then why some ppl still cant run it? Has regions or all that shit something to do with it?

Before the patch it worked flawlessly, but only with Yasu & daemon.
Still have steering problems, way to sensitve with my Rumblepad.  Almost unplayable for me. |

Game was running great, thought i'd patch to 1.1 and maybe gain more performance but it did the opposite..

works just fine with the 1.1 patch and i use the latest yasu, went to windows like 4-5 times and went into the game again ,and now no prolems to get into the game.
about prefformance...i am not sure about that...looks the same to me.
at lease the activation of the exe is better:)
needs latest deamon and latest yasu and if it will not run at the first time, try again (after the reboot)

I only use DT4.09 and it works everytime (1.1) ...
But the performance is terrible even though any other demanding game runs fine ... and i tried on low settings = no difference so there's something wrong.

thx for the link m8, downloading right now, gonne install then soon and see if it improves anything for me 
i have logitech rumblepad to, and idd with driving vieuw behind the car, impossible to play, but cockpit and bumper camview was better to me, but i guess the camview is the problem not the rumblepad only  made me dizzy
EDIT: patch 1.1 improved some things to me, outside-camview is much better now, at least its playable now also a little increase in performance not to much, but every increase is good
for the rumblepad, these are my settings, maybe u could try them to, and see if it makes some difference to u
