Hi,

Yesterday i installed this great game on a nice morning.. The game itself is great. And i like how they changed the rally handling.. Only this game has some major problems..

One. I run this game on a:

C2D 2.0 GHZ
2 GB RAM 6200
7900GTX
Nvidia driver:
XTreme-G 158.45 Vista 64bit
OS: Vista 64bit Ultimate Validated.

My FPS on lowest setting with Resolution @ 1024 is very low.
FPS 25/35 Sometimes the fps is to low for good gameplay.
This is very sad for me cause i waited so long for this game.. Very Happy

This system maxes BF2 on highest setting with 8x AA 16x AF...
With a FPS of 35/60 (min 35 in xploisions)
Does that say enough.. I think yes..

So is it the game that is so bad programmed or somthin.
Also mounting the MDF and NOT the MDS worked for me..
Witouth YASO..

The second problem i got with this game is also very sad..
My save games get corrupt somehow.. I dont know how it is happening.
But it is. Then i need to make a new profile. So now i dont play it anymore..

I hope they will bring a patch out that will fix some of this things so i atleast can play this game like it is needed to play..

Maybe some1 els got same problem(s) and somehow solved it or somthing. Then please let me know in this tread. Man i like this game allot! I want to play very badly. So please help..

hi first of all bf2 is an old game now have you tryed to run this game under win xp to see if you got the same result ? if the does not help maybe your gfx card is lag in performans and i can see that it is a nvidia 7900 gtx you got it is indeed a good card but the game will for sure run better with a 7950gx2 or any 8800 card remember the new game is allways better with a newer gfx card more fps i remember under test drive unlimited someone told that the fps was low but i have around 100fps if that is bad i dont know but that good enough for me in other words your gfx card is outdated if you want more power go out and buy a new 8800 card c3s

I know that GX2 and or higher card runs much better. I also know that the way a DX10 card handle things is much more efficient. So much higher FPS. But this game im tellin u runs like shit. On the lowest setting it runs like i run it on very high setting but it is on lowest. U know what i mean. Sometimes stutter if im reached the max of my system.. in dirt..

I run test drive on highest resolution with all on high with 4x AA and 16x AF.
FSP= 30/50. Perfect play.

Woudl a 8800GTS 320 mb give much more performance then my 7900gtx 512mb?

yes the 8800gts 320 version is much more powerfull than the 7900gtx if you run the 7900gtx in sli mode you will get the same power what a 7950gx2 haves ut if you take the 8800 gtx and sli it your performens will rise 50% than what a 7950gx2 can and that because of the memory and the gpu with such amount of memory the objects in the games will run smooth because it run to time thu half and half thu the cars witch will give more memory space left for the next object so it does not have to emty the memory before it countinues thats why sli is so powerfull but it will allso requiers an big powersupply maybe a 700 -800 watts can handle it even if you have 2 harddrives and 2 dvd drives and a powerfull cpu it will run without braking down because its lagin on power that will not happen if i was you start up with go out and buy a 7900 gtx the manufactor i not relevant so long it have the same amount of memory and same gpu extentions get a power supply there can handle to gfx card run sli and you will get more power than you have right now hope it di help you a little
