what are you talking about I wasn't admiting to anything. I was explaining what I did to get a duel boot of vista going so if others wanted to try vista out in the meantime till there comfortable enough to do the transition over & more games are available for vista only....but whatever floats your boat budy.

Does anyone else have strange texture problems in the game? Im using an 8800gtx with 158.24 drivers, and certain textures are tearing or flickering. It doesnt matter what res or whether or not i use antialiasing.

Don't flame...but how do you work the internal fix?
the nfo says to extract the ISO to the computer and then use that startup.exe.
How do you extract an ISO to cpu? I am mounting the ISO with damon tools and can not cut/past the new startup.exe to the ISO/virtual drive.
This is my first encounter with this type of issue.
Can some explain what I do? When I run the startup from the ISO/virtual drive...it crashes to desktop...it never installs.
any help?

Well........hmm.........exactly what I thought this game was going to be like. Halo 1.5. The graphics are average at best. For a 2007 game, they are darn right poor. Yes I know this game was released years ago. If you love Halo and didn't want Halo to end this is your game. If you are bored of Halo you will sleep for weeks playing this game. One thing I always hated about Halo 2 was the Covenant character you get to control. I don't want to control the enemy! WTF! The game ran perfectly for me with everything max. No problems what so ever. That's the way it should be for an old game.
This game is a waste of time and shouldn't have been made. Micro$oft showed us their true colors again.
YAWN!! Time for bed.

razor + fixed startup.exe works
and
unleashed + razor crack works also

I've followed the instructions to install the game. Once the game is installed, i copy the MF.dll to the installation folder(doesn't copy over a file of the same name).
But a "game needs to be activated" type box keeps popping up asking for a serial number.
Anyone else having the same problems?

There is no problem, just choose "acitivate later" en play all you want.

Why bother, the game is crap.
Compared to all the other stuff out or coming out on the PC, Halo is a great intergalactic turd. In fact that other game on the PC that begins with "H" and ends in "2" beats this crap into a cocked hat without even trying.
Name one game that Bungie has done thats been mindboggleingly fucking awesome... You wont name any. Marathon trilogy was shit, Oni was shit. and Halo is shit.
Why all these people think Bungie is so godamn fucking awesome is beyond me. Perhaps 90% of Xbox owners are all Mac owners and drool over Bungie's dicks because they made games (albeit crap ones) for the mac..
Even Halo 1 was shit on the Xbox and PC alike. Halo 3 will be shit also and will be a turd compared to Crysis etc...
The only thing good in Halo was the damn music, and that wasnt that great either..

I just got to Chapter 11: Quarantine Zone "That Old, Familiar Feeling" and after a cut scene I got a "Sorry, please insert disc" message. Is the RAZOR crack not fully working for anyone else?

what's up with that? Can you play the entire game using the Razor release or no? If so, how?

Well DIRT, Episode 2 and Bioshock are multi-platform.
But yeah, Spore (if it ever gets finished) UT3 and not really seen much of Dragon Age but ok.

Though a couple of those are not PC-exclusives, I can think of Quite a few exclusive upcoming RTS's in particular that will be Very good.
Not to mention that nearly all the awesome titles will be of course ported to PC, with improved dx10 graphics.
Of course it is always best to have choices, why I have a couple consoles besides the PC.

Start a new game and choose the 4th level, the urban one. For there it should work.
